I bought mine new in 2005 and still love it. I got the sport edition and really like the handling. I've taken high school kids 15 hours to Disneyland straight through and they actually complimented the rear seats for their comfort for such a long drive. Gas mileage is still around 26 in the city.

I highly recomend the solara, the person who designed the car said it was a coupe for the masses. and it is .Im 38 and cant afford a lexus coupe but this works for me and at a glance you think its a lexus (toyota). the quality is there

i highly recommend this car. the one i drove wasn't convertable, and it feels like your sitting inside the miata, but more comfy. not a lot of room, but still its one of the best in my opinion. very very smooth, and its got a really nice feel to it. it gets around curves with ease, and even when hard braking it feels nice. the seats are comfy and it has speed. a lot.

its a fun car to drive, most fun i've ever had tbh. and its quieter then the miatas n whatnot too. n for its price its not bad.

my brother has 1 same color 2004 4 cylinder with the body kit not the convertible. i like the way it looks but drives lyke shit u gots to push the gas down lyke 2 -3 inches to get any response and the sound system is shity too

what did you expect from such a large car with a 4 banger, never buy a 4 banger engine in a big vehicle, they all drive like shit, and the fuel ecomnomy is bullshit because of the weight of the car it struggles much more then a v6 so u burn the gas that you supposedly save.

I have a 2005 SLE with over 80,000 miles. Looks and drives like new. Very spacious and smooth. One of the best purchases I've ever made, car-wise. I like to spend more time in it than in my BMW.

no, I meant that the toyota literally owns the lexus brand, lol... they look similar because they come from the same parent company. you can tell some parts come from the same factory, they're built on the same chassis's and the body styles are similar (or exactly the same on one SUV)

The Solara was originally going to be released as a Lexus convertible, but Lexus decided they wanted a hard top so they slapped the Toyota logo on it and cut the price in half.

This car is a Lexus at heart.
