@RoarCrusade Actually the reverse may be true. once you learn to play fast, it's hard to slow down and be just as accurate. also, when you play slower, it's a lot easier to hear the mistakes.
seriously, the people that dislike this are part of an advanced race of people from a distant planet vacationing here that have 28 fingers on each hand and can play 3 guitars at the same time. This is nothing to them.
for all you guitar playersout there,if you play solos remember to mak use of arpeggios like this because thats what makes the difference between melodic solos and just crazy fast pentatonic
Paul you have developed the most amazing tone ever.. The Fireman sounds increado!(obviously the injectors help) Eternal thanks to you for all your help and inspiration over the decades. You are proof we know god loves us and cares for us(or our ears anyway!). Keep up the good work =]
Mr. Paul G is Incredible. why would anyone? hit the dislike button on such a great great musician. They must have had A Big cup of Dumb Ass...before watching this vid.
@hallbergjonatan I think the fact that these type of guys can have fun with it but are never "satisfied" is what makes them so great. But having fun while not being the greatest is the real secret I think.
Seems like Paul kind of has a vintage bent lately, and I like it. Marshall Vintage modern, single coils, no whammy use, 22 frets, pedals and no rack effects. His tone has never sounded so good. His new album is so good.
Paul Gilbert is my fave guitarist. Not just because he is an amazing player, but because he doesn't carry that douche bag attitude--and he can smoke just about everybody on guitar.
he just said that he got inspired with bulgarian music... how many musicians would admit that.... or even listen to theese music¿?....what a genious, visionary..
he made a small mistakes cause he slowed down. usually ppl make mistake playing faster
