what causes lag? i know teleport lag is from your internet but when you get bombarded by grenades, what lag is that? the ram or your graphics card. because i got 2Gb ram and Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @ 2Ghz and it's fairly laggy in death room and small maps

Lower resolution works a bit for lagg.

I'm playing on 1680x1050 and I have 0% lagg.

Lowering the color quality helps as well.

Sure makes CA look weird on widescreen monitors though.
