  • ludacris sampled the littles theme for one of his songs

  • @brianb9532 oh man really? what song?

  • I remember seeing this when it aired and being instantly hooked. The Littles were my fave for yeeeears. Criminy, the memories!

  • "Ya can´t stop the The Littles cuz The Littles don´t stop!"

Total 80s synth pop XD! Lovin it!

  • wait a minute...is that Dick Clark?

  • The opening credits seen in this video are not fully done it seems, as everything in the background is yellow. Toondisney used to air the episode "Big Cure For a Little Illness" with this undone opening and the opening music and animation were sped up for this airing. The final opening is used for this episode on the DVD Release. Why Toondisney aired it, is still a mystery to me, but I was lucky enough to tape it and it can be seen in part here.

  • loved the Littles.........Cartoons have never been the same. What a time to grow up as a kid. I lived for Saturdays. I would wake up every morning about 6:30am and have a schedule of cartoons until noon every Saturday. What a time it was!!:)

  • Catchy tune.... I miss the 80's too!

  • saturday morning cartoons back in those times were worth watching!!!! man i miss the 80's!!!

  • I never really watched The Littles..guess they came on when I was watching CBS or NBC

  • I Wouldn't Be Suprised If There's A Live Action Movie About This Great Cartoon Show (i'm talking about The Littles in case you want to know).

  • i used to wish i had the littles

  • Is it just me, or does that series look vaguely anime? I swear it must've been animated in Japan but sent to the US...

  • It was animated by TMS (Tokyo Movie Shinsha), a production studio in Japan. They also worked on series like Tiny Toon Adventures, Ulysses 31 and Bionic Six.

  • Really? "Tiny Toons"? The other two you could REALLY tell were anime. But there's an interesting article in the April '08 "Anime Insider" about various anime studios that worked on '80s cartoons. :)

  • @LaDracul Back in the late 70s/early 80s, a lot of animation was partially done in Japan. DIC (the company that made the Littles) did this (they were actually Canadian though, not American i believe)

  • wow, thanks for sharing that with me!

  • Oh my gosh!!! I remember these preview specials!!! I looked forward to them every year growing up!! Fantastic!!!

  • Me too!!

  • Great! I'm glad I wasn't the only one!

  • Me too, me too. God I miss those days.

  • I'd like to see the "Rubik" segemtn from this show. Havent't seen it since I was 10! Remember it like it was yesterday!

  • If he takes good care of himself

and he doesn't do any more appearances

on ABC TV'sRockin' New Year' EVE!"?

    Mr.Clark will be ok.

  • I'd like to ask you?

Do you have any more clips from Mr.Clark

hosting ABC TV'sSaturday Morning Sneak Peak"

    from the fall of 1983?

  • I remember this ABC TV Saturday Morning

"Sneak Peak"hosted by Mr.Clark. This special program not only previewed

the new kids tv shows on ABC? It also honored ABC TV's 30 years

of classic kids tv shows of the past. Thanks For showing this clip.

  • I loved The Littles on ABC sat mornings! May God always watch over Dick Clark's health- he's such a terrific guy!

  • I can't believe I finally get to see this and the register to vote vid too..thankyou so much crakkerjack!!
