what i find surprising is that this shitty act fooled so many people in the first place, when you say bend a spoon with your mind, i imagine you hold it at the end and it bends the fuck out of itself like its alive, not grab it with two hands awkwardly so you can barely see the spoon itself and proceed to rub it weirdly whilst grasping 90% of it in your hand.

You can even see the key already bent when he starts rubbing it. What he does with the hand holding the head of the key is to adjust the plane of the head upward to make the lower section rise so it appears as if it's bending.

It's not hard. He bends the key right before they go to the close up of his hands. He then tilts the key up as he rubs it to give the illusion that it's bending. Also notice that when he first starts rubbing the key, he uses two fingers, then gradually moves one away. The two finger hide the bend in the beginning.
