darlin' i'm so sorry to hear. i wish for u fortitude & joy remembering the love. forgive me for saying, baby i lost my father about 4 years ago. i want to let u know that i put on rose tinted glasses for awhile when looking over his past. it prolonged my recovery. glorifying your mum for just who she was is magnificent. our parents fulfilled their personal journies. our journey is still now. excuse all your behavior for the next year. my heart is thinking of u. much luv.
a wonderfull tribute for a wonderfull woman i am sure that she will rest in peace outthere when you look to the skies into this sea of stars where we came from ..your will find her..and all the others...thank you for this wonderfull and touching song..the day got not enough hours to hear your wonderfull voice my dear...you have touch my soul with this wonderfull tune and dedication..may your mom rest in peace! my best whishes - respect and peace!
@BluesMamaRaven My grandma past a while back so I know it doesn't stop any hurt or the lose but I think it helps. happy to hear your granny is still going strong :)
oh a little bit of comedy relief, very respectful one... at her funeral a church group played guitar amazing grace and you should have heard my dad, you could hire him to be one of those weepers, some p0eople actually hire them.. anyways when they sung the line saved a wretch like me he lost it and yelled "she's not a wretch"
He cried it out so loud weeping all high he felt ashamed after but it was a hideous song choice.. I would have liked to have a song for her like this, so meaningful but I only got old enough to know her more when she had dementia so bad she lived with us.. what everyone spoke was powerful enough though.
:( it's never easy when people leave, but looks like a lot of love in your family still to share
@GoldenFinchFellow I just mean to say I understand with the type of disease, my dad the most cause he visited her all the time in the home he thought he was ok but he was the loudest bawling out.. me too she didn't recognize me anymore so I thought I already made my peace but it was tough. but I know she knows me again now. p.s. Any wisdom I can articulate is just reflection all the caring people I've met on my path, like you.
Regards to you and yours Raven, the song is so beautiful and proud and happy She must have been very special. Maybe the hole it leaves in us when a loved one dies is a place we can put special memories for them in
