Rick Warren is a false prophet -- he preaches a social gospel and calls it Christianity. Our good works mean nothing apart from Christ. Repentance of sin and faith in Christ as Savior is what saves. The RESULT will be good works because faith without works is dead, but without Christ good works are worthless. Beware of this wolf in sheep's clothing brothers and sisters in Christ.
Once again another exaggerated statement trying to summarize the Christian faith. Reductionism is just sooooo tyresome! Rhetoric in preaching aside, surely overstatements and exaggerated absolutes are a thing of the past? Come on! Give us listeners credit for brains! The essence of Christianity is surely the good news message concerning Jesus and he's done - not our response and actions to that good news.
Hes a man of half truths.Psychology has no place in the church.he twists scripture to fit unbiblical ideas.
