the audio here is not so good, but the end of this song is super funky and rhythmic, I can't believe the crowd is just standing there and not dancing. And that the band didn't make an extended jam of it. Well, still a brilliant song.

I agree with everything you said, but in my opinion Elliott Smith gets the edge. I go back and forth though, between the two... But Elliott's music appears to have a level of emotion that I don't think anything else has.
They are both geniouses, but i think Elliott had more of a mature sadness if that makes sense, like he had gone through it all, when conor was just finding it all out, it's sad that Elliott killed himself, he could have continued to make brilliant music, i hope conor stays alive!
I think the girl's voice complements Conor's really well, but when she is the only one singing the part "FACE!!!" I thought it kind of sucked. But other than that this is one of the greatest songs ever written
