First time I made matzoh balls, I didn't realize I was making way, WAY too much. I ran out of chicken soup & I was putting them in all kinds of different soups for days to use up all the matzoh balls I'd made. It was a ...different experience having them in cream of mushroom, minestrone, cream of leek, onion soups, but my love for them returned within a month of my near-matzoh-ball-OD. A brief stay at a Betty Ford Clinic to heal after my matzoh balls excess & I was out looking for a deli again.

And do you like chicken soup? Henryk M. Broder ( a polish-jewish author and intelectual) said that chicken soup is the jewish penicilin and every who is ill gets it deserved over and over again till he/she is healthy.

In my family its the same (we are from east europe), chicken soup again and again and again and again, its beside gulash the only thing my mother can cook.
