@Choowbz Your comment actually belies the lack of knowledge you have of Wonderland, because there are numerous jokes in the show relating to classic Rodgers & Hammerstein, Sondheim, ALW, and other lesser known Broadway greats like Meredith Wilson. This show was jam packed, and the book was not good. That's why it closed, and why the tour production will see many, many changes. But this show was absolutely NOT simply another cashing into the Wonderland fetish (the way Johnny Depp's movie was...)

Cashing in on the Gothic trend for destroying the wonderland stories.

I can just see the corporate directors saying that the young people are in to this lets make a musical.

A sign that the US culture is at an all time low.

Is there no originality left in the US?.

They would have more success re-hashing Rodgers and Hamerstien stuff.

@Choowbz You know what, this show is freaking AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Don't start talking crap about it, it's NOTHING like the stories, it's a complete twist. Some of the best actors/ actresses I've seen in a musical, Frank Wildhorn is amazing at what he does so don't come on here criticizing what he has spent YEARS in the long run of making this. I bet you can't do any better. So actually see the show before you say something about it.
