Good game, one thing though, the last level is similar to rayman's last level which is mr.dark. Mr.Dark is blue and covers his face with a cape, also rayman throws his hands as well. I dont know which came first because they both came out within the same time, 1995. I like both games.

Ristar will always have a special place in my heart....my favorite game back when I was only a 7 year old child. I finished the whole thing, too...I was sort of "bright" back then so it didn't take long to figure this one out. Me and my best friend at the time had a ball with it. Wouldn't mind playing it again!

Ristar the american version doesnt have that but the japanese version does and it goes by the name Ristar - The Shooting Star. the beginning story has one thing missing and the end was cut hope that helps ..... Also in the japanese version the code for inviciblity is "feel" it will show all the secrets aswell as let you choose your level

This was one of the first games I remember playing. Back then I only had it as a rental, when you could still rent Sega games. I got bought it recently for the Sega Genesis, and a few days ago I got it on the Wii Virtual Console. This summer, I'm definitely finishing it. Fucking awesome game.

Ridley, Ryoko, and Greedy, easily my top three favorite Space Pirates! Harlock and Simbacca fall close behind though. Greedy was just such an unexpected badass for me that I give him a ton of respect! Those blackhole attacks are just lethal!
