I see these people burn our flag on the news, I see them chant "death to America" , I see these people stone their women to death, I see these people run a child's arm over for stealing a loaf of bread, I watch our Twin Towers destroyed and 3,000 + people died, and I see them wanting to build a mosque near ground zero, which is a sacred piece of ground... I am sure that Franklin would find this Fl. Pastor to be repugnant (as I) but no matter what book he wishes to burn, Bible included, he is free to do so. Liberty trumps feelings every time.

Could it be that is because it fuels the anger and fear of the American people so they play into the hands of the politicians and the military industrial complex? War is very profitable and the politicians will milk your fear for votes. This story should never have made the news. They could have easily done the same with staging Muslims burning bibles, but that wouldn't be as good a set up for any violence resulting after this and as easy to blame Muslims

Here's a suggestion for concerned Muslims around the world. Openly pray for the souls of those who would desecrate the Quran, and thereby demonstrate the peaceful nature of Islam to the non Islamic world. Violent retribution will only diminish your standing with the rest of the world and might well prove the pastor's point.
