Yes great commentary, you have a good vocabulary, and i highly recommend you listen to Gris - veux tu danser different bad, similar sound but in my opinion, alot more skilled band, and the vocals are astonishing. Oh and if you love some thunderous bass drums in funeral doom, try any song by Nortt, very verrrry dark music, probably the darkest band i've heard.

i think you would like the band Lifelover, they combine the depressive black metal and doom metal style along with a punk feeling... i loved their Erotik album :D
and same goes with Nyktalgia, their Peisithanatos and self titled albums are pretty damn amazing... depressive black/doom metal at is best IMO.
and with Forgotten Tomb, Springtime Depression for me wasnt really their best, their main albums i loved were Songs To Leave and Love's Burial Ground...
