i opened up for loudness in 85 in Dallas at the tree with a band called symphony and they blew us away and got all the chicks,,,,,,,,,,,, they where really nice guys, and so serious ,
How come, back then, crowds at metal concerts "naturally got into the music?" In other words, they bang their heads, scream their lungs, or vocal cords, or lungs out, punch their fists in the air, jump up and down." Today, crowds "just stand there or sit in their seats" there like they're at an awards or graduation ceremony, or they're watching a movie." That's why I don't go to concerts anymore. Don't wanna get bored like everyone else!
@AngelofAnguish ....i guess the answer to your question is that in the 80's they play good rock music energetic and full of stage performance..today's rock is unfortunately boring!!! alternative doesn't have the appeal of a live crowd that's why people just stand and watch...GLAM METAL RULES!!! PEACE...
