That vacuum is probably getting close to 0 suction because the hose was not submerged in water to get rid of the air.

After 15 years of use, my Kreepy gave up. I'm going to buy another one tomorrow. A great and dependable product.

Intex pools are not really set up for Kreepy Krauly use. You should look at electrical cleaners.

Looks pretty simple to use HOWEVER I recommend you submerge the hose underwater to expel all air BEFORE you attach the hose to your skimmer suction. Air in the line could cause your pump to lose prime.
