  • porca miseria ragazzi!

  • @themusicmatterz 1989 I think, just after the No Control album was released (altough they didn't play a single song from it in that show).

  • FROGGER WITH MY LIFE! FROGGER WITH MY LIFE!!

  • 0:17 super hero greg!

  • @daveywaveydave

Well, they did draw a lot of inspiration from the Germs lyrically, but I wouldn't call it derivative, I agree.

  • I'm tired of this city!

  • Should have called it Pacman (as BR and Pacman are both 30 this year).

  • One of my favorite BR songs, only because it's a silly song. One of these days a band is gonna come out with Zelda songs. 'Fighting Ganon with my liiiife!'

  • im tired of the city..

  • WITH MY LIFE!

  • That's so raw and energetic, that's i love it

  • Frogger!!!! btw Along the Way is a incredible performance. I bought the vhs tape off interpubk years ago.

  • ummm interpunk years ago.

Hey anyone got the Big Bang vhs tape (vhs only) uploaded on here?

  • Sheer power and energy. I love it.

  • i dont see bad religion as derivative atall...not many bands are lyrically in the same league as bad religion musically yes br can be compared to many punk bands but lyrically the style is different probably from greg being able to articulate his point of view very well and with a wider vocab than most plus br can be very melodic. greg said himself that most br songs can be played in folk style acoustically and perhaps thats were the soul of the music is for me plus his voice absolutely rules.

  • Right on, man.

I haven't thought of it before, but maybe that's why I can listen to Bad Religion all day without getting tired...It doesn't work that way for me with other punkbands.

But Graffin has a history of being influenced by simple folkmusic, and maybe that's why their music touches me so much.

  • I totally agree!

In fact just the other day i was admiring the melody and style of one of their songs.

    Its not just generic punk.

and none of us is ready for a world without melody X3

  • @daveywaveydave

couldnt have said it any better. exactly the reason why i like br so much!

  • @daveywaveydave Nailed it.

  • I agree with magnusbarelegs69. Go do something else for fuck sake.

  • Like I said, I like all sorts of music, but BR have many insightful things to say. You may not like them but they re-defined the genre and you should respect them for that.

  • Also notice how I didn't come out and insult you and swear at you? Maybe you could learn from that.

  • Why do they cut together footage from different shows? You can clearly see that Graffins shirt changes color from white to red and pops on/off.

  • I'm currently addicted to this song. Don't know why.

  • i think it was 1989 the suffer tour before the release no control

  • What year is this video from?

Also, you blow babyou. Way to be a downer.

  • The best years for BR

  • Then don't listen or watch.

  • Shut the fuck up. BR own anything you could do musically.

  • As good as THE Sex Pistols are, Bad Religion are nothing like them. Go fuck yourself now :)

  • And you go fuck yourself now, tommorrow, next week, next month and next year. And the decades to come, please continue to fuck yourself.

The Sex Pistols style of rock was not meant to last forever. John Lydon went off in all sorts of directions after they imploded. Less creative musicians like your butt-buddies BR continued to rehash the same ideas that the Pistols invented.

    Followers. (*yawn*)

  • Comparing Bad Religion to The Sex Pistols will get you nowhere. If I could fuck myself, I would.

  • Ok, then. Tell me, what amazing music do you listen to? C'mon, share your musical interests.

  • What does it matter the music I listen to? I'm not trying to tell you what to think. Shit! Think for yourself! That is what the original punks were all about. I listen to the Earth turning on its axis. Beautiful music. If you like the Bad Religion, why the fucking Hell do you care what I think? Why? Not sure if you really like them? Afraid you might not be cool? Ciao.

  • What you just said sounded like bla blaa bla blaaaa blaaaa horseshit. It's not the Bad Religion, it's Bad Religion you idiot.

Your videos blow. Your music blows. You blow.

    Bye xxx.

  • Look up Bad Religion, it's BAD RELIGION, not THE Bad Religion. Learn to fucking read.

Oh, and that's the worst come back in history.

  • THE Bad Religion.

Boo hoo. Boo hoo. Somebody made fun of my favorite band. Waaaah! Booo hoo. Boo hoo! I'm gonna cwy to my mommie! I'm so so sad mommie! Waaah! Waaah! Boo hoo boo hoo boo hoo!

  • Again, worst comeback ever. You blatently stereotyped little babies. No baby says "boo hoo". Oh, and it's Bad Religion.

  • "stereotyped little babies"???? Hahahahaha!

    Dumb ass. The Bad Religion.

  • The fact you find it so funny makes me laugh at you more. Oh, and it's Bad Religion.

  • The Bad Religion. The Bad Religion. The Bad Religion. The Bad Religion. The Bad Religion. The Bad Religion. The Bad Religion.

  • GEOMORPHOLOGY SUCKS GEOMORPHOLOGY SUCKS GEOMORPHOLOGY SUCKS GEOMORPHOLOGY SUCKS GEOMORPHOLOGY SUCKS GEOMORPHOLOGY SUCKS GEOMORPHOLOGY SUCKS GEOMORPHOLOGY SUCKS GEOMORPHOLOGY SUCKS

    Get.A.Real.Job

  • I got a real job, dude. And, sorry, geomorphology doesn't suck. I love it. As much as you love this suck-wad band.

  • Yeah. Right. Real job..my ass.

GEOMORFOLOGY SUCKS. BAD RELIGION OWN YOU.

GEOMORFOLOGY SUCKS. BAD RELIGION OWN YOU.

GEOMORFOLOGY SUCKS. BAD RELIGION OWN YOU.

GEOMORFOLOGY SUCKS. BAD RELIGION OWN YOU.

GEOMORFOLOGY SUCKS. BAD RELIGION OWN YOU.

GEOMORFOLOGY SUCKS. BAD RELIGION OWN YOU.

GEOMORFOLOGY SUCKS. BAD RELIGION OWN YOU.

GEOMORFOLOGY SUCKS. BAD RELIGION OWN YOU.

  • Real job your ass? Your ass is a job? WTF? Just what is the connection between disliking your favorite band and whether or not I am employed?

And The Bad Religion OWN me? What the fuck does that mean? Own? Like slavery? This is what's wrong with you young idiots; you think music is supposed to express control over someone or something...women...whatever...instead expressing freedom.

  • I teach at a college in L.A. DUUUDE! Real enough job for you? If you don't believe me, it doesn't matter. Hope you're not one of my students.

Oh...and...this song is not fast enough, nor do The Bad Religon act nasty enough. They are not good enough actors. You like acting, right? You like this band, so...

  • Wow, because you work in LA makes you have a REAL JOB. Haha, if you say so DUUUUDE. And now your saying bands have to act Nasty? What the fuck does that even mean? Actors? What the fuck? Explain in DETAIL mr college teacher. Fag.

  • I'm a fag? News to me. You, however, fuck goats and cantaloupes.

Yo momma's underpants are livin' large.

    Adios, muchacho.

  • All of a sudden your Mexian? Hah, Bad Religion OWN YOU. Consume you.

Yo momma is drowning in her vagina blood. Hopefully.

  • Mexican*

  • Well dickwad, as I wrote before:

The Bad Religion OWN me? What the fuck does that mean? As in slavery own? This is what's wrong with you; you think music is supposed to express control over someone or something. You don't have a clue what it means to express freedom.

The Bad Religion OWN ME? Not as long as I'm alive. Nobody whips me, asshole. You will get the whip turned on you.

Now: I don't like this fucking band, never have, never will.

Sorry to make you feel bad because I don't.

  • You heard right, Bad Religion OWN YOU FOR ALL ETERNITY. Are you a religious man?

  • Sorry to make you feel bad because I don't like your favorite derivative band. *sniff* *sniff*

  • Favourite band? lol you know so much about me. Bad Religion are not my favourite band, I don't have a favourite. 1000 more fools are being born every fucking day....and your the 1st.

  • Lol bapyou < keyransolo

  • Well the singer is actually a college professor aswell. He teaches at UCLA. Where do you teach? And further, Bad Religion is very uncliche. Instead of singing about anarchy or "breaking all the rules" they sing about everything we fear about everyday, the questions we are all asking as humans. And I still don't understand why you would watch the video if you hate it. And for a college teacher you certainly act like an immature student.

  • Well, I hear this "music" and I turn off immediately. Sounds like twelve-thousand other fucking bands I've heard. And tell me, exactly, how does a "mature" college teacher act? Am I supposed to conform to YOUR idea of mature? What? Smoke a pipe and wear a twead ajcket? YOU'RE THE FUCKING CLICHE! Like the idiot in this band that teaches at UCLA! And what the fuck does the fact that this asshole teaches at UCLA have to do with making uncliched music? Give me an idea, fool.

  • Um, i don't smoke a pipe jackass. What music to you is original? If you're going to tear down other people music then come up with some music that isn't cliched. And you're the one flashing off you're college teaching job. What kind of teacher starts swearing at people for expressing they're opinions? Your students must want to beat the living crap out of you everyday.

  • The only reason I mentioned my job is because some other goofball on this post told me to "get a real (one)". I have one, thanks. The pipe-smoking reference was in regard to you telling me to "act like a college teacher should". Also, I teach science; science is not a matter of opinion. It's prove or disprove. And what do you care what I think is original music? If you think this derivitive bullshit is original, your idea of originality diverges widely from mine. How many tatoos do you have?

  • Um no tattoos. I'm not a punk, I listen to all types of music: Punk, jazz, folk, indie, underground hip hop etc. But I honestly just want to know what you find to be original in this world. And he teaches biology...so no he's no light weight at his college. Why do you hate them so much? If you don't like it that's fine...but don't freak on other people who do look at it beyond it being punk.

  • That's cool, you like the ramones and the clash, oh and Neil Young, one of Canada's finest artists. Thanks for telling me what you like. BR was inspired by bands like the ramones but also authors and writers, too. Talking heads are pretty cool, too. Anyway, I'm glad you have you're opinion and you're strong convictions.

  • Furthermore, I was not the one who "start(ed) swearing at (someone) for expressing they're opinions". I was cursed for expressing MY opinion. Oroginal exchange:

bapyou: This kind of music blows. Nothing interesting about it. Cliched.

keyransolo: Shut the fuck up. BR own anything you could do musically.

So, I write that this band blows, and I'm told to "shut the fuck up".

I won't shut up for anyone. If I'm cursed at, I will curse back.

  • Lastly, take this band and tell them to go to hell. And in what department does the asshole who is in this band teach? UCLA is my alma mater. I will personally tell him to his face that his band sucks ass.

    Cheers.

  • There's nothing like a well-structured, cogent argument! Small point, but if you don't like the band then why bother posting? If I don't like something then I don't want to hang around listening to something while I vent spleen.

I'm suddenly reminded of a line from a Vandals song..."I know one teacher I wish was on the Challenger".

  • Bad Re-Idiots?

Yeah, right. Read their lyrics and come again.

No matter how simple the songs are, they pleasure my ears, immensely. And they're not a bunch of stupid "KILL THE GOVERNMENT"-punks, they're intellectual.

  • @JohnZackarias I have to mention here, that not all "kill the government"-statements are made by stupid punks. sometimes, killing a politician seems like a necessary evil to me, because this might be the only way of making politicians and cops stop to oppress and kill innocent people.

  • @JohnZackarias Agree with this comment with a late reply. I can honestly say that throughout high school I learned more vocabulary from Bad Religion than I did in any of the books they gave us.

  • @bapyou do you have any kind of problem that makes you watch a video you don't like of a band you don't like and insult it without knowing anything about it?

  • @raymatu Critical faculties.

  • If this was the only Bad Religion song I'd heard I would agree with you. I encourage you to listen to other stuff they've done if you haven't already. They are much better than the sex pistols.

  • @bapyou lyrics?
