Quake 4 has a REALLY short campaign, but cool weapons. Multiplayer sucks in my opinion. Doom 3, the campaign is fun to play through ONCE, but the multiplayer is all really dark maps, and so it gets boring. I haven;t tried UT3; it looks good, but pretty much only a multiplayer game. I LOVE Team Fortress 2. I got it in The Orange Box for my 360 ad its my favorite online game.

@voidremoved Yeah I prefer UT3 over MW2. I've been playing UT3 heavily and I have tons of mods installed. The user created content gives the game some immense replayability that would last you a decade. I highly recommend getting this game.
360 version will have such a larger playerbase than the PS3 version currently does. Probably 2x the amount of the PC and PS3 version combined. Going to be a sweet ass community FPS with tons of competition.

In Halo you walk too slow! In UTIII, youre dead if your reflexes aren't as fast as lightning. Halo 3 is overated and does'nt nearly look as good as utIII. Plus, Microsoft is having problems with releasing free user created content. That's why the Ps3 gets this game first.

Dude, you can tell? Usually any way. Unless they are built around the same engine you can see slight differences. If you show the scenery of a UT map most people can say "Yeah thats from UT", likewise with Halo, Source (HL2 etc) and other games. Its no tthat hard to tell!
TEXTURES, its because the scenerys are diffrent, you dont see UT maps with rocks and up'n'down terrains, Halo rocks have been smoothed over, in UT, you can see the cuts and rough edges

I tried to play it in a 2.A ghz Pentium IV with 1.15 gb Ram and a 5700 Nvidia GForce.
I started playing at the lowest, lowest, lowest resolution and graphic qualities and i could play well for a while. Then, I increased the qualities 50 %.

Halo have no musci; you cant get new maps, it doesn come with a editor so lazy people can make some cool ones, halo have so few escenarys, i get no extazy, no music, no interesting effects, halo is really close to that old goldeneye, but it was original.

Actually afx0r, i am going to say something about mouse and keyboard. I'm not trying to bash PC gaming at all, but it sucks playing shooters w/ mouse and keyboard in my opinion. I played Crysis today and the m/k ruined the experience. The worst part was having to move my character with w,a,s,d. It felt so stiff and sloppy. It just can't compare to moving around with a joystick, especially in a 3d free movement game. Strategy games work fine with m/k but not shooters.
SeveNnTyFour keyboard/mouse with fps is worse because of the fact it's easier. You guys probably sit up and do headshots all day, and that's boring. Having a challenge is exactly what makes games fun. Plus, i don't have to sit in front of a computer to play my games, i can sit back and play games on my HD Samsung and relax.
The reason why you can even use a gamepad is because developers actually give you a larger area and an autoaim feature to make it easy for you to play the game. With a keyboard and mouse you actually need talent. I have a 360 and an xbox and FPS games just bite on consloles. I will be a PC FPS guy for many years to come..JUST MY OPINION though as long as you have fun it doesn't matter where you play..just enjoy it.
but while u play with a keyboard/mouse, and its easier, u'r right too efeez1986, u can push the bot difficulty a little more (a little like inhuman or even godlike on ut3) and playing online the battles are more intense...
yeah and consoles are good because u can sit back and relax, but with pcs u can aswell.

For all the people complaining about how Unreal tournament was meant to be played with a mouse and key board...they are right...it is!
But for the PS3 version (can't say about the XBox though b/c its not out at the moment) you can attach a mouse and key board through the console's USB ports...(and the game supports it)
I tried mouse and keyboard using the USB ports on the PS3 with the game TimeShift and it didn't work. Mouse and keyboard only worked on the main PS3 menu. So I doubt mouse and keyboard will work for Unreal Tournament 3.
Hm will you then have to plug the mouse and keyboard into seperate USB ports? I hope it it works because I prefer mouse and keyboard for games like these.
I think you can get a mouse and keyboard combo, so they go into the same port and the mouse goes into the keyboard (eg Mac keyboard) And it only works with Unreal Tournament...but I would love to see more developers take notice of the preference and allow this type of support. If not then the FragFX controller will have to do as well...

fuck, you guys are arguing about PC's and PS3's ffs. I play games, but in moderation. I also have a social life and lack the urge to argue about whether a PC has more Capabilities than a PS3!! Why does everyone care so much!!!

dummy, you can make a pc anything you want it to be. If you want it to be a sick gaming rig then go ahead. If you want a office storage computer to hold server files you can do that to. Its just not limited to only one application of use. PC blows away consoles after 1 year a console comes out anyway and a PC is easy to upgrade than a console. Which cant be upgraded unless you buy the next gen console for 700 or more. In the long run a PC is better

By the way, the player seen on this video wouldn't survive TEN SECONDS against ANY PLAYER on PC.
Consoles are stupid.

I tried to play it in a 2.A ghz Pentium IV with 1.15 gb Ram and a 5700 Nvidia GForce.
I started playing at the lowest, lowest, lowest resolution and graphic qualities and i could play well for a while. Then, I increased the qualities 50 %.

Well, logitech does have one, it ain't cheap though, it's priced at 80 bucks, I think you'll have to pay for a mouse too, I'm not too sure, google it if you want..

Halo have no musci; you cant get new maps, it doesn come with a editor so lazy people can make some cool ones, halo have so few escenarys, i get no extazy, no music, no interesting effects, halo is really close to that old goldeneye, but it was original.

Halo has been given an award for best music in a video game ever. You can download Heroic map pack, which new maps. It HAS an editor, called Forge and has lots of different scenarios! So how about you Shut the fuck up, and go play Goldeneye?

yah and it has tons of interesting effects, it records every game you play so you can view it in full 3d, they're releasing more maps than just heroic, most anticipated game in the history of video games and next gen graphics. so you my friend, just got served. *plays bitch got served*

I repeat: It doesnt COME with it; the little diference with UT 3 and Unreal Tourmanent 2004 (previews one) ; I dont like campaign that much, so i dont hear any music playing multiplayer; and the weapons look bored to mee. And for sure i will shut up for all you care, you only deserve this one more post from me. oh, and I will go to play UT 3; golden eye is kind of oldy now, you know?

It owns halo all the way. This game has more gore something like GOW, but first-person. I think socom is goind to be better though.

I can play with either there isnt much differences i myself have Crysis and no it wasnt stiff moving with the keys its fine i have also played with the joystick its fine there too but if ur complaining bout m/k just go buy a controller for your computer and do it that way

Actually afx0r, i am going to say something about mouse and keyboard. I'm not trying to bash PC gaming at all, but it sucks playing shooters w/ mouse and keyboard in my opinion. I played Crysis today and the m/k ruined the experience. The worst part was having to move my character with w,a,s,d. It felt so stiff and sloppy. It just can't compare to moving around with a joystick, especially in a 3d free movement game. Strategy games work fine with m/k but not shooters.

SeveNnTyFour keyboard/mouse with fps is worse because of the fact it's easier. You guys probably sit up and do headshots all day, and that's boring. Having a challenge is exactly what makes games fun. Plus, i don't have to sit in front of a computer to play my games, i can sit back and play games on my HD Samsung and relax.

The reason why you can even use a gamepad is because developers actually give you a larger area and an autoaim feature to make it easy for you to play the game. With a keyboard and mouse you actually need talent. I have a 360 and an xbox and FPS games just bite on consloles. I will be a PC FPS guy for many years to come..JUST MY OPINION though as long as you have fun it doesn't matter where you play..just enjoy it.

but while u play with a keyboard/mouse, and its easier, u'r right too efeez1986, u can push the bot difficulty a little more (a little like inhuman or even godlike on ut3) and playing online the battles are more intense...
yeah and consoles are good because u can sit back and relax, but with pcs u can aswell.
guys... don't try to say that consoles are better than pcs or vice versa, they're different and good for different tipes of gaming, paragraph.

I would rather have a challenge because someone's skill was superior to mine, not because my controller sucks and I can't aim correctly.
That way, I would be able to relish in the fact that shoddy tools didn't affect my performance, even if I did lose.

For all the people complaining about how Unreal tournament was meant to be played with a mouse and key board...they are right...it is!
But for the PS3 version (can't say about the XBox though b/c its not out at the moment) you can attach a mouse and key board through the console's USB ports...(and the game supports it)

I tried mouse and keyboard using the USB ports on the PS3 with the game TimeShift and it didn't work. Mouse and keyboard only worked on the main PS3 menu. So I doubt mouse and keyboard will work for Unreal Tournament 3.

I think you can get a mouse and keyboard combo, so they go into the same port and the mouse goes into the keyboard (eg Mac keyboard) And it only works with Unreal Tournament...but I would love to see more developers take notice of the preference and allow this type of support. If not then the FragFX controller will have to do as well...
