@coyllur100 Look around, it's not expensive. and yes, you need it because essential oils kill germs, and tea tree oil is one of the strongest. Otherwise, you'll get mold on your wipes. A bottle goes a LONG way, I think we are still on our first bottle of tea tree oil.
@emilysmommy4ever2009 I buy my cloth diapers from Green Mountain Diapers. They are excellent and have lasted and lasted, they look like new. I have "Thirsties" for a wrap. Much cheaper, and no diaper rash. Only recommendation is going with disposables when they sleep, because they will pee a lot and wake up in the middle of the night with cloth diapers..
@matthewsmomma07 She's 6.5 months. She pees.. A LOT. Like an average of 25 diaper changes a day. Average disposable diaper is 40 cents. So that's $10 per day!! She's almost 200 days, and so that's $2000! OUCH. I launder my own diapers; and my water bill has gone up about $5/month from it. Diapers cost me about $500 total, including the bigger sizes she hasn't started to wear yet.
@twoblink you do save alot i havent added it up but weve been buying disposable babywipes and diapers for 3 years with our 1st and now our second is 11 months old we thought it would be best to save money now.
@matthewsmomma07 It's not really JUST about saving money; my daughter feels "wet" in cloth diapers; but not in the disposable; and so she will start jumping up and down when she's wet; and so potty training is coming along swimmingly. We have a 2nd kid on the way; and so since we already bought cloth diapers; the savings will double; they last and last and last; we just took the small ones out of storage the other day to see; and still looks like new.
Instead of wasting paper towels I use 3 by 5 inch squares that I cut from old t-shirts and sheets. I have the cloth in a Tupperware with a spray bottle filled with baby oil, water, and oil on the side. Then I can just spray the square and toss in laundry.
@Phatbaby1011 Don't know why either.. But to the best of my knowledge, I'm the only person on earth with a video introducing this. It's not just a money saver; but the fact that your baby won't have a rashy bottom, and you know EXACTLY what went into it.
Even better, scrap the paper towels and use baby washcloths! Even more economical and less waste!
