  • He did not play it when I saw him live :( what a shame

  • Ignore the stench known as "snaredrum110" It's only existence is to attract flies...don't be one.....simply SPAM it's comments instead. Thanks for your cooperation and have a great day!!

  • The bends at just about 2:41 is actually the most orgasmic sound I have ever heard from Joe's guitar!

  • Here's about the most overated asswipe of a guitar clown ever..non musical as possible always. How can that even happen. No music ever?? Just shred noise.

  • @snaredrum110

You have no idea of how stupid you are !!!

But I bet you will respond back here...

    I never debate idiots !!!

    I hope that in 2012...you get a brain !!!

  • @onlyafterdarkness Oh it;s just you...just another overated Satriani stick rider...hahahahaha

  • @snaredrum110 FU AHOLE UR DAD CANT EVEN STRUM

  • Superbe.

    Merci.

  • Satch brings the hammer down, again, awesome.

  • super chanson

  • 2:02 , wtf !!!

  • how yall doin!!

  • That guitar is screaming for mercy...

  • ooh ooh oooh heelpp!!!! there's coming white liquid outta my ears!!! giggity

  • John Goodman is such a great bass player. I have known this for years...

  • In 3:18-3:21 he reminds me of somewhat Kermitt the Frog xD

  • One of the best songs I ever heard in my life. Stunning. Only one person in tho whole world can play guitar like this.

  • I'd rather listen to this than go paintballing on the moon.

  • Motorcycles and space shuttles....

    Classically trained and blues....

    Joe Satriani.

All the thrust without ever running out of breath.

  • take a look at the jumping pick :D

    0:01

  • @QuantumGh0st my god !!! what an ego 'billy sheehan probably is better than stu'. as if you would know. i cant believe the deluded arrogance of some people. you sound like a first rate wanker

  • @bowen1966 Yeah, sorry my band mate is responsible for that comment. I'll remove it.

  • Why comparing clapton and satch, they're both not human

  • say whatever you want ... but in terms of technical virtuosity .this guy is better than eRIC CLAPTON

  • The bass solo on this DVD is just plain filthy.

  • 1:41 jizz face

  • 2:33 WTF?

  • Isnt that La Rue on some of the later Satriani vids with the big hair though? I think so, I'll have to look - Its funny I never noticed they look similar, same frame and all.

  • @guitarplayer4real hes got the best freaking bass players ever, This is Stu Hamm for sure tho, La Rue is on Live in Anaheim.

I would love to see Billy Sheehan play a tour with him, that would be epic!

  • @SuperKagey Definately a tight band all around. I cant imagine Satch with a crappy bass player. I saw these guys in Sacramento in 1985 and again a year or two later and Stu was still there at that time. They were incredible of course and Satch always gave him the time to show off which was cool:-)

  • i wish i could meet some of you guys its not every day you meet a Joe Satriani fan. LOL

  • @druglover200- go to a Satriani concert. You'll meet plenty of them. lol

No, but seriously, it is hard to find other Satch fans. I listened to Joe's music for a year before I found out that my music teacher was a huge Satch fan.

  • @BaneOfXistence4 saw him live when i was 12 =) i grew up with his music.

  • @BaneOfXistence4 Been a fan of Satch going back to the Surfing CD here. I love that he's a really unique player and no one out there sounds like him. I damn near wore out my Extremist CD in the 90s.

  • ive only been to one concert and that was a Joe Satriani concert.

  • DE LA CONCHASUMARE :)

  • Satch, Vai, Gilbert, Petrucci, Hetfield, Mustiane, Timmons, Hendrix, ......

They're all timeless and Legend!!! so now, can those girlies get the fuck out with their 1-month-lasting pop ?? Thanks :)

  • best intro ever!!!!

  • I want his sunglasses!!! and guitar!! and his skill for playin on it haaaaaaaaa

    JOE RULZZZ!!

  • 0:56 = meaning of life

  • Wow I can never get enough of Joe. Great video. Thanks for sharing. : )

  • 0:35 Just orgasmic

  • 0:23 gay ppl likes Joe too!

  • hi venus hi jupiter hohoho

  • M.A.E.S.T.R.O.

Friedman, Vai, Skolnick, Beach etc. They all pay tribute to the guitar lord

    B-)

  • How I love the SOLO in this song!

  • jeff is a fantastic drummer

  • only 7 mistakes in the voting...

  • I don't know why I'm watching this online since I own the DVD but I can't help but watch Satch absolutely destroy on the guitar whenever I can. It brightens my day.

  • epic! <3 but the people are soooo lame in video

  • 0:22 jizz in my pants

  • there is no way joe came from another human or this planet...

  • this song is soooo GOD DAMN EPIC!!!

  • Om Joe Namah Satriani ....\m/

  • 1:22 is like the biggest divebomb ever

  • I wonder if he ever gets sick and tired of kicking so much ass every day.

  • 2:03 - he needs to do more of that. That sounds good.

  • When Chris Jackson, Stanley Roberts and Shaq played basketball for LSU, this song was tailor made, representing to me, in sound, what that team looked like playing basketball in their gold jerseys. Wow, this guy can relay a feeling on guitar!

  • pure magic

  • 2:43 :) joe you beast

  • @SlipStreamrock yeah that bending was great

  • all lefty then man hey ma man just like jimi

  • oh hell yeah

  • 2:05 is what all bass players should look like when they play haha

  • All hail satriani!

    :)

  • oh yeah!!

  • god damn what a rush

  • you all see joes daughter front row covered by bodygard?

  • haha yeah, not that anything would happen to her but it's good to be safe anyway.

  • High performance music, for high performance activities..

I used to listen to this in my motocross helmet riding in south Texas.

    Satriani is a legend!

  • BIG!!!

  • Fantasic tune fabulously played!! Satch is the tops!! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow!

  • Good bass Player anyone know his name??

  • stu hamm

  • Thanks :)

  • @wasp2020 Sttttuuuuuuuuuuu!!

  • No,He Is Dave La Rue Bassist Of Steve Morse Band

  • @halpop07 lol nope - But if you look each of them up I can see why you would think that. Take my word, this video has Stu Hamm on bass.

  • stewart ham

  • @cjf799 jezzz stu has been playing with joe for 13423 years now.how much do you know about satch?

  • @necroabortion

you shouldnt try to embarass someone for asking a question he didnt know the anwser to, im sure there was a point in your life when you didnt know alot about joe, I probably know alot more about him than you do, but i resisted the temptation to correct you and accurately represent how long stu has been playing with him. becasue you know (slightly) more than someone it doesnt give you the right to be a dick

he who asks is a fool for 5 mintes, he who doesnt is a fool for a lifetime

  • @cjf799 he did a bass solo at the JSatch gig i was at and was booed until joe came back on

  • so much fun to play! even if you can't (like pretty much everyone on the earth) play sat's stuff. improg makes up half of it haha. such a good song

  • yeh, just playing the main riff is cool :D

  • It's not too hard to play if you practice right hand and left hand separately with a metronome then slowly piece things together. I'm not saying I can do it perfectly every time, but it's great that odd time where things just feel like they're working. Those days make guitar so worthwhile, as opposed to the days you feel like everything you do sounds like shit.

  • u need to become a satch fan he is by far the best so far ahead it is not funny

  • Well I probably spend more time listening to Satch because Vai is way more hit-or-miss. I just find when Vai hits he really hits. This only really refers to studio stuff though, I'd listening to anything that either of them grace me with live, and have several times per artist.

  • stevie vai has some good songs

  • F*** Steve Vai--sort of!

  • And by that I strictly meant the studio version.

  • @ASteveVaiFan lol yeah. what a great song.

  • what songs does satch plays in this concert??

  • mothefucker can play!

  • Look at that little girls face and her dad watching out for her with his big arms protecting her, and the other guy standing there just rocking to the music...Brilliant...Gerry...

  • god

  • Master

  • he is one of the few guitarists that can use a wah to his advantage and not to add something to his playing to make it sound better. its like every effect he uses you know its perfectly utilised, goes with the song perfectly. \m/

  • fuck i'm supposed to be working but can't stop listening to this..

  • @teachmeguitar addictive stuff!!

  • @teachmeguitar lol ive been there, best comment ever!

  • satrisani was playing by/with van halen?

    can it be ???

    i think so;-)

i am not sur but i remember some sound at the 7tis....

  • 2:02 missed pinched harmonic

  • 0:21..lool :D

  • HAHAH

  • there shud be a guitar hero joe satriani...if theres a guitar hero metallica then there HAS to be a guitar hero satriani!!!!!

  • legendary freak

  • (bows down)

  • a true guitar hero best of the best

  • it always makes me smile when i see him playing....truly the best

  • Master Joe Satriani

  • One of his best!

  • One of my favorite Satch songs :D

  • 2:41=sick

  • @aznumchuck he always is sick xD jajaj

  • This song + Cruising around on a Harley Davidson = PERFECT!

  • This is just pure genius, pure guitar genius; nothing else to say.

  • This song is very Wanderfull, the Wah is very good..Satriani is the Best

  • I'll have to remind myself of Satch Boogie...I like the energy of them, the tune, the style, and that he's playing the music, rather than just showboating technical ability...I'd have to say though that, all things considered, I'm more for his quieter, soulful instrumentals. Just not at certain times...like when doing press-ups ;)

  • Hehe, Satch is a god indeed.

  • my fav satriani song fuckin ace

  • Bitchin'!!

  • 1:36 to 1:44 is quite possibly the ultimate 'guitar hero' lick! :D

  • ...But this one wins...

  • Psssh. I'd have to go with Ice 9 on this one. ;P

  • RikkudoSennin - I won't hold that against you ;)

  • Hehe. ;D Thanks. I just love the groove of Ice 9. Really gets me moving.

  • Yeah, Ice 9 is great. I was doing some press-ups earlier to it. crushing day, and this one :P . All favourited ;)

  • Hehe, Sick man! I find when I go running or something Ice 9 always helps. Same with Satch Boogie. =D

  • @RikkudoSennin ice 9 is fucken sick man!!!

  • Hells yeah. =D

  • This and Ice 9 are my favourite Satriani rockers...
