@ningling60 No, Diamond wasn't. In the Alpha, Diamond was basically second to none against the Blade of Grass, but requred around 80-100 blocks of it for even a pickaxe XD.

It's actually handy because there's different music depending on if it's night or day, so if your in a cave you'll be able to tell when the sun comes back up without constantly checking.
