  • Let me guess you are taking a loss and just doing it out of the goodness of your heart? Nice try. Obviously you think the world is stupid and anything that comes out of your mouth is believable. If you want to better the breed than start by learning about genetics and quite selling a bunch of crap that isn't true about recessive gened dogs. Then you may have a chance of bettering the breed. You may want to know what you are talking about before typing.

  • @TXanimallover Just wanted to say that I recently had a litter of frenchies from a black brindle mom and a red with black mask father with no blue at all in the heritage and 5 out of 7 pups came out blue. I was really shocked. I bred them for conformation to show. I had ABSOLUTELY no idea I was getting blues and will be selling them based on conformation not color.

  • What an ignorant statement. Blues have no more health issues than any other color of Frenchie. Just because it wasn't favored by the shows doesn't make them unhealthy. And now that they are becoming more common many registries are considering adding them. It is rare because it is a recessive gene and needs two to show up. Do some reading on biology. You should really know more about genetics if you call yourself a breeder. People like you are the ones that start rumors about things.

  • @TXanimallover

REASEARCH before anything stupid comes out of your mouth, theres a reason akc doesnt register them and these are not"rumors"..but facts. dont you just love sticking your nose everywhere?if you put yourself into the "smartass" position at least do some research on the subject...please...

  • @opamarina You are calling me dumb? AKC does register them. They normally go under whatever pattern is on top of it just like the other colors. As for your blanket statement that ALL blues have follicular dysplasia that is idiotic. Blues come from all different gene pool colors. What about Demodex that occurs in all colors? By your logic you shouldn't be breeding any color right? And where is your scientific data showing lighter color eyes go blind? My blue eyed friends better what out. LMAO

  • @TXanimallover @TXanimallover

you clearly need to take more semesters, and its clear to me that you know nothing about the breed, nor breeding.Ive done my research, try it some time, every single one of the TOP bulldog breeders, can explain what a recessive gene d/d is,what inbreeding is,google it,ALL of the top responsible breeders have all the info on their websites as well..BLUE or "RARE" french bulldogs are bred solely for PROFIT.

  • Breeding lots of dogs does not make you a genetic expert. I don't care how many dogs a person has sold. If the science is not there saying it over and over doesn't make it true. Blues weren't a color of favor in the old days nor common. Blue eyes is from two recessives. Does that make all blue eyed people genetically inferior? I still see no data & I have googled it all. I do see one Frenchie breeder who apparently who is as misinformed as you who thinks they should post untrue personal bias

  • @opamarina Why don't you google blue french bulldogs and ask if theirs are registered AKC? People like you are the ones who think they understand genetics yet are clueless. Then they feel the need to spew false statements about things because THEY don't approve or isn't their personal preference. I work in the biology field. Let's see your research to back up your mouth....

  • @TXanimallover

    frenchbulldog dot bluefrenchbulldog

    basically sums it all up

    end of conversation

  • Ahhh what kind of link is that exactly. Unless this is a link to vet backed data or true research site than I am not interested in someone personal agenda. Yep you sure have proven your case with all that scientific data. Oddly the AQHA did not recogize any color of roan, but red or blue when it started. Genetics now tells us there are roans of every color and they realize their mistake. What makes someone an idiot is seeing facts yet unable to admit the truth.

  • @TXanimallover Anyone with the odd colored dogs in any breed are just breeding them to make money and will not be there in a few years when it all hits the fan or when the market for them dries up

  • What a hypocrite. Are you not breeding your dogs for money? You sound a little jealous of what they are getting due to the color being harder to get. We agree on one thing. That the prices will go down as more become available. Just because you don't care for the color doesn't make it everyone else's preference. And anyone with a brain who researches the blues or chocolates will realize that they have no more health issues than a normal Frenchie. Every breed comes with baggage...

  • @TXanimallover

I breed to better the breed, not for money, knowledgeable breeders dont make money, breeding is VERY expensive, unless ure a byb or a puppy mill. Jelous? ok now I know that im wasting my precious time, anyone can get a so called"blue" bulldog, breed and make tons of money, but only smart people know that its wrong, and thus ends this pointless conversation...you are immature and uneducated, its pointless to even argue...(person that talks about data to back it all up) LMAO.hypocrite,LMAO

  • @TXanimallover The Blue/Mouse color produces dogs with Follicular dysplasia -gradual hair loss starting as young age causing dry scaly skin susceptible to bacterial infections. No cure and condition becomes increasingly worse. Blue should not be registered as Fawn on AKC registration and is rare because breeders should NOT try to breed it. Just because your BLUE puppy with yellow eyes can see now and has good skin doesn't mean it won't loose its sight and develop skin problems later.

  • @opamarina

We love these dogs, we have often blue puppies but they are totally healthy. You can see them during moving and walking, they don't have medical problems. We are not a kennel, the dogs live with us, in love as a family member.

We do not sell on e-bay.

  • @szekhelyszerviz

Gorgeous puppies and very nicely put together! Everything a Frenchie should be. Don't let one idiot tell you different. They look happy, healthy and confirmationally correct. And their color is beautiful. And like most ethical breeders I am sure you breed to eliminate the health issues that ALL Frenchies can be prone too. NO matter what their color.

  • How much ???

  • They are absolutely gorgeous! I love frenchies but I love blue frenchies more!
