  • I got here from Cracked.

  • It is probably diffirent from resturant to resturant. If you go to a low end resturant and a high end resturant.

  • Back in highschool I knew this guy who worked at a Chili's. Everyday he worked the first thing he would do is take a dump in the special sauce. Not because he was in a bad mood, but because he thought it would be funny.

  • only if minorities tipped and white trash did as well.. OOPS did I type that?

  • NATURAL LIMITS TO EVOLUTION: Only evolution within "kinds" is genetically possible (i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.), but not evolution across "kinds" (i.e. from worm to human). How did species survive if their vital structures, organs, reproductive systems were still evolving? Read my Pravda Internet article: WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS! I discuss: Punctuated Equilibrium, "Junk DNA," genetics, mutations, natural selection, fossils, genetic and biological similarities between species.

  • "JUNK DNA" ISN'T JUNK: Recent research shows that these segments of DNA are vital in regulating gene expression (when, where, and how genes are expressed). There's no room for random mutations to operate safely. Random mutations, from radiation, are destructive. Even for every good one there would be hundreds of harmful ones with the net effect, over time, causing harm and even extinction, not upward evolution. Genetic similarities are better explained due to a common design for common purposes.

  • This Scam worked back in the 90s. Well we are in 21st century where almost everyone uses a credit card.

  • This is typical american news, overexaggerating everything like crazy. According to this news report, every single waiter in the US is out to scam you. Garbage!

  • I dont go out to eat anymore. I dont trust restaurants.

  • I'm from the U.K. and have a holiday home in Florida. I NEVER use a credit card as 50% of restaurants will alter the bill. I had one place change a $40 pizza bill to $4000 and it is common. Not just restaurants, clothes shops, everyone. Keep you card in your wallet and pay cash ALWAYS in the States! The other thing they do is every bar will give you the wrong change. We go in one bar regularly in Fort Myers Beach and they do it every time without fail. Same in Orlando - tourists are targets.

  • We had a dude that jerked off into someones food once and gave the lady an Std

  • I've worked in a restaurant and if the employees were caught pulling any of that crap, they would be beaten in the parking lo, usually by the manager. I pay with a credit card, I check the bill and when I tip, I make sure it cant be altered from $5.00 to $15.00. If you your creditcard machine "isnt working" thats YOUR problem, not mine, thanks for the free meal....just who got re-scammed and guess who wont get a tip.

  • Just eat at home.

  • Thats the reason I dont like restaurants. Once they tried to charge me $3 more for a meal; I took out the cell phone and made my calculations and I found the scam. Be careful.

  • I even bought an apartment scaming as a barterder!!!!

  • That's really mean to do something bad to someone's food when the cook or waiter got the order wrong. If the customer is an asshole about it, then in that case, I understand why they would be upset.

  • I have to agree with socratesocks. I used to work in many restaurants as a cook, and also in the Navy I was a cook, and I never saw anything like this. Maybe I only worked in better restaurants, but that stuff was not tolerated. I won't deny that there are isolated cases of people doing that sort of stuff, but it is not the norm.

  • This video is discusting. I've worked in restaurants when I was younger and none of that stuff went on. Except maybe the scamming. Old stuff was thrown out, and nothing was reused. Well almost nothing. About the grossest thing was how the gravy was made from the deep frier scrapings. But the gravy was so damn good I didn't care. lol

  • I don't pay cash. I've been ripped off by waiters who claimed I've short changed them many times, now if they reject my plastic I tell them to keep the info and charge it later and walk out.

  • I have been in the food industry for fifteen years, and if one of my staff tried anything like this i would kick their ass. any good cook or waitress holds the safety and well being of their customer at the highest regard! Tip or no tip that food must be at the highest caliber and completely safe. I have worked at places like this and quit the first day because the food was unsafe.

  • IF you are dumb enough and rude enough to be a jerk to the person serving you food you get what you deserve

  • Clearly, people have the right to cause harm to people whom they feel have slighted or insulted them. >_> Although the desire for revenge is understandable, I believe this human vice is a major reason society is necessary. While yes, intentionally insulting a servant of any kind is stupid and wrong, it is common to mistake proper assertiveness with rudeness. It's easy to assume people are just jerks, rather than having a bad day (not to mention, the server may have misunderstood).

  • its a stupid move, insulting or berating the waiter.... buuuut I've seen many times when it's justified. Thats when I just tip like shit and never come back

  • Ive been working as a waitress for 2 years and i never spat in anyones food or did those things because i have morals. It really depends on what kind of person u are but It probably happens alot . and its probably not such a good idea to bitch at your waiter

  • I worked for 6 years as a waitress.I've never done any of this myself, but I have seen coworkers spit in food. but only once- lesson there don't go to a restaurant where you know you have an enemy.

Don't be afraid to send back food if its not too busy or there is a genuine complaint. And yes, never piss off your server, should be common sense. Oh, and if your in the US tip at least 15%, if not 20+. Servers make no money outside of tips.

  • Tips are a major problem with restaurants. Restaurants should pay serving staff and put that into the bill.

  • DAMNIT i just lost the game. -_- i hate you.

  • Those fucking assholes... prison time for them.

  • NAAA, they can just say "I have rights! I have the right to spit in your food." Judge - 2 weeks probation, $20 fine. Next!

  • most of this happens up north, more assholes there

  • I worked in 4 restaurants in 3 cities while in college, and I never saw anyone doing anything so disgusting or dishonest as this.

  • I worked for 3 years as a waitress, I never spit in anyone's food or tried to scam anyone. If someone short-tipped me and came back in the restaurant another day, I would have my revenge by giving them crappy service.

  • A waiter or cook might spit in a persons food to get even with his boss too.

  • Comment removed

  • that's nothing get a job in the restaurant business you will never eat meat again

you think that's hamburger your eating

  • i can tell it was bullshit when they mentioned use credit card not cash.

  • Those are some clever waiters :)

  • It's ABC news. God, use your fucking head to separate fact from fiction please. It's not that hard.

  • I've worked as a waiter for ages and never done or seen any of this. Gimme a break- where's the special about the douches who tip $2 while I'm trying to pay rent and college loans?

And sorry, but people eating in upscale new york resteraunts who can afford not to look twice on the number on a check aren't getting any sympathy from me if they get scammed.

  • Pick a more reliable job. You picked to be a waiter knowing your real money comes down to your tips. Maybe you shouldn't be in college if you can't figure that much out

  • I work as a waiter because I have the experience, and it's the only job near me that lets me work flexible hours. Get off your high horse, no one works in food service because they want to.

  • actually a lot of people pick being a waiter over other jobs

  • hahahaha one in a thousand actually chooses to be a waiter. I averaged $300 a night in tips one night I had a group who charged a $3000 bill and tipped $3. People have to think before they tip. I however have never seen any of the stuff these people are talking about. I would still be really nice to the people who are alone with you food.

  • Lots of people chose to be waiters as a teen it can be one of the best paying jobs avaliable. Maybe you only got a $3 tip cause you weren't a good waiter? People don't have to tip you anything, its just part of a custom. You expect people to give you money just for doing your job and they do because its expected of them, i suggest we actually tip people who do a meaningful job

  • Ya I got a $3 because they went to the bathroom and got so high they had no idea what the hell was going on. I said I averaged $300 a night on a slow night. I was an excellent waitress. I think we should tip meaningful jobs like the garbage man, no more important job than that. I can't believe the wage that I get paid for the job I do. I feel that I work less than I did when I was a waitress and get paid more just because I have a degree.

  • They should just do it like in France where it's automatically added in...or hell, just put it in the price and pay the waiters more. Tipped labor is almost slave labor.

  • No actually Marie, you don't have the right to cheat people just because they make a lot of money.

  • Late to the conversation much?

  • Does that mean you figured out how dumb your own comment was? If not, then the time period doesn't matter.

  • I'm a waiter and have never even thought about anything like this.

  • I'll never look at waiters the same way again.

  • I've been a waiter for a long time and a bartender. I never scammed as a waiter, it's way too difficult. And I've never ever ever or ever known anyone else who has ever scammed a customer, that's just wrong and I don't believe that anyone but a handful of service employees would. But scam an owner, hell yeah. It's the easiest thing to do as a bartender to pour a beer, say five dollars to the customer and pocket the money, or if there are cameras fake it with the computer and take it later.

  • And no one ever gets arrested for any of this...

  • That women(the reporter) needs to stop trying to imitate a midwestern accent, it just doesn't work out well.

  • lol thats very true

  • Yes, because with all the real scammers in this world we need to beat up on bartenders and waiters who are fleecing millions from customers just so they can go drive off in their Lamborghinis and private jets. Assholes.

  • So? The waiters and bartenders are still scamming me and you and the owners out of there money. Just because it might not be that much money doesn't make it right.

  • Okay, you call that sarcasm...Whatever...I guess each person doesn't think it's sarcasm or what. Because there are different types of people in the world and such (some who can take a joke and others who can't). I had no idea that was just sarcasm on your part, Shutterbug...Sorry...

  • Well, it's a fancy restuarant too (where they are filming this episode). Those are places I don't go to. Too crowded and you don't know what's going on.

  • I know, exactly! I was a cocktail waitress, at a nightclub, and I never scammed anyone. This is a lot of BS.

But there's crooks any where you go (your local doctor, cop, sale rep., and lawyer). What are you going to do, stay in your house 24/7??. Hell no! How can you? You just have to look for the signs and just leave.

You start fearing everything, then you could get some sort of psychosis going on with you. No way!

  • Chick I know said when a guy offers a drink when waiting she pours something else in there and pockets the money. For instance if its a shot of vodka she'll put water or something. Act like shes taking a shot and pocket the mans money. This isn't scamming?

  • a waiter years ago tried a similar trick on me once, tried to scam me for 5 dollars over actual total...i had just finished giving piss test for my probation officer so i was in foul mood...it was very busy night and i was sitting near an exit in dark area...so i called him over and grabbed him by the throat, forced him outside, and smashed his face into the brick wall...u DO NOT fuck with Leroy

  • I hope you went to jail

  • I have worked in the restaurant business for 25+yrs in all respects and have NEVER worked with people who would do any of what was mentioned by these two guys..

I would say they are just trying to sell the book!

  • Well my cousin worked at a few places and said hes seems some stuff like this. Its not everywhere, but It does happen.

  • "Gross, but not unhealthy, they bring it up to a boil so its ok"

Unless its been contaminated with an allergen.

It's all healthy untill someone allergic ingests peanut oil.

  • Shit like this is why I don't eat out.

  • So, you like staying in your home 24/7?? There's crooks like this everywhere, sweety. If you fear that much, about things like this outside your home, then you should seek counseling. That's not healthy to fear everything.

  • Are you for real? Obvious some people can't sense "sarcasm"...

  • don't forget the idiot that falls in love with female bartenders

  • That's always funny to watch someone get drunk and start hitting on female bartenders. Last time I saw that I thought I was going to piss myself, I was laughing so hard.

  • dude ive worked in 5 restaraunts as a cook bar assistant waiter bus boy dish washer and host and i tell you dont break the cardinal rule of eating out: Dont fuck with people that handle your food

  • I don't eat at restaurants like that unless I actually know the people working there. I've worked as a dish pig at a restaurant before, nasty shit. If I do eat out I'll do it at McDonald's, they're the one fast food restaurant, you can guarantee you won't get sick from. I've gotten food poisoning from eating at a few places like Subway, Arby's, Taco Bell, I don't guess anymore, McDicks or A&W.

  • McDicks is possibly the WORST place....

  • As long as there is an upper, middle, and lower class - the people who feed you will always despise you.

Abolish class society and we can all eat together with respect for one another.

And yes, piss off those who serve you and you can only hope that it's spit you receive in your food.

  • Yuck!

This is sad that this happens.

    Immaturity for sure.

  • GO WATCH WAITING.

  • I never,ever send anything back.

  • Try not to got to these Restaurant when they are busy. or got to a small Restaurant. Most small place want you yo come back, Big Places like these places like that don't care about you .

  • don't trust ice cream places eather I've actually seen someone at carvel spit in this persons ice cream because he pissed her off! XD

  • ...

    ::takes out pencil and paper::

  • I have no problem with them reusing bread and butter and anything that hasn't been in contact with people's saliva. And don't come with wimpy talk about hygiene or deontology. All germs are killed by the cooking temperatures anyway.

You'd be shocked to see how much perfectly good food is being thrown away by restaurants and supermarkets.

  • Has anyone seen waiting? Never ever piss off cooks or waiters.

  • it's true about not humilating or whatever your waiter. I've worked in restaurants, trust me, people will get revenge.

  • do not forget your the customer

  • omg seriously?

  • Funny, because the 'real' Bible is a scam too!

  • Ohh, for Christ's sake!!!!

    just suck a lemon, already...

  • @kwestyunz sez you the bible is very real and u know it

  • @kwestyunz The BIBLE is the MARK of the BEAST! Constantine (1st beast) legalized Christianity and had 50 bibles compiled. King James, homo (2nd beast) 666 # of a man, born 1566, 6th of Scotland, authorized 66 book bible, image of God's word, carried in your hand, memorized in your head, made to speak (the bible says) and is used as an object of worship. Your faith will fail.

  • @kwestyunz ZING!

  • @kwestyunz EPIC WIN!!!!

  • im glad i already trusted no 1

    god damn scamers

thease r some honsite ppl, hard workers getting scamed outta there hard earnd cahs

    fuck heads

  • need to trust in god butt head

  • a waiter years ago tried a similar trick on me once, tried to scam me for 5 dollars over actual total...i had just finished giving piss test for my probation officer so i was in foul mood...it was very busy night and i was sitting near an exit in dark area...so i called him over and grabbed him by the throat, forced him outside, and smashed his face into the brick wall...u DO NOT fuck with Leroy

  • No you didn't. If you had, you'd be in jail for assault.

  • As a busboy in a 5-star place I was often told by the chef: "We're getting low on the lobster, try to find me some!" He'd piece together a whole tail from leftover plates. Add more sauce and sell it again. Badda-bing!

  • Once me and my family went to a restaurant, and they put the wine twice on the bill. Good thing we checked !

  • I try to chose restaurants where I can see the kitchen, break up the food I don't eat so it can't be reused, and generally accept that I'm probably going to get something reused or less than hygenic. As long as I don't get sick I can handle it. The biggest risk is eating at a 'western style' restaurant when in a non-western country. That's a sure way to get sick.

  • A little floor spice makes everything nice...

  • ya thanks for your conffession

  • Damn! o_O

  • wow...oh yes I worked in a place where i quit in 2 weeks...I was SICK to what they did and they got reported

  • i've probably eaten spit

  • these are basic rules that i have learned in time to watch out for.

    thanks for the upload
