If it is not done humanly it is stopped and serious fines are levied, no ands ifs or buts about it. As for gout, there isn't enough room to go into detail. It affects the liver and the foods you should avoid are high in purines (type of protein) include Beef, wild game, beans, nuts, mushrooms,some grains like barley, alcohol, it goes on.

3. PETA have killed over 21,000 animals since 1998.

@lucylu123100 first off in Canada a CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) Vet when food animals are killed in a commercial plant. If it is not done humanly it is stopped and serious fines are levied, no ands ifs or buts about it. As for gout, there isn't enough room to go into detail. It affects the liver and the foods you should avoid are high in purines (type of protein) include Beef, wild game, beans, nuts, mushrooms,some grains like barley, alcohol, it goes on.

Whether or not something is biased doesn't matter, as long as the facts are true and you make sure to see both sides of the story. Like how 'Countdown' and 'The Rachel Maddow Show' are biased, but still tell the truth. Everything in that video is true, I saw PETA's tax filings, I've read the stories of how they adopt pets just to kill them, and how they kill 60-90% of their animals while attacking shelters for killing 10-30% of their animals. I have all the proof, that's all there is is to it.

The incident in NC in 2005 was disgusting, but an isolated one, involving only 2 members, who were prosecuted.

What about the fact that they are against euthanization in any way? What about the fact that they are against the use of animals for entertainment and extortion? You want the blind and handicapped to lose the only help they have? What about dogs who let their owners know when they're on the verge of a seizure so they can get to a safe place? You would be ending these organizations and you would have to get rid of your pets as well.
PETA isn't offering good solutions just anti-human ones.

Ingrid Newkird and her followers are on a domestic terrorist watch list by the FBI. They directly funded ALF (Animal Liberation Front) in the firebombing attacks on laboratories and researchers' homes (which weirdly enough, the wrong homes were targeted!)
PETA may think it's cool to release mink from mink farms, but their short-sightedness doesn't take into consideration the unbalance that causes to the local ecosystem + these normally wild animals will now die of starvation.

check out the peta v. nra debate, the peta representative states explicitly that peta gives money to individuals like rodney coronado. He does however say it is for his legal defense. However, since rodney coronado is a convicted arsonist, i dont really see the distinction between giving him money for legal defense to get out of trouble for bombing, and giving him money outrght to bomb things.

At one time, PETA was a venue by which the ALF could publicly expose animal exploiters torturing aniamls in labs and on fur farms. If not an animal rights group, to whom should've the ALF sent their undercover videos? Furriers? Pharmaceutical companies? The CCF?
