I think this is the best salsa bellydance mix I have seen sofar. I love the intro and the transition. The salsa part is not so good but considering the fact it was done in 2006 I think is great.

I have that song and these are not the same song in this performance. Not only that but the first slower part is Turkish and she dances to it in Arabic style with a fusion costume. (Though I'm not debunking the fact Arabs used to rule Spain and that the second part is quite a nice fuse.)

C'mon, Mexican type clothing?? where did you get that idea from?? Salsa is not Mexican. You guys think that everybody that dances salsa or speaks spanish is from Mexico?? = ) Just to be helpful, Salsa was born in New York, from Cubans and Puerto Ricans mainly from the Cuban son. And the dance is a mixture of rock and some other types of genres.

There is no specific dress code for dancing salsa. Most of the men would dress just like that. This is not a folk dance where you would wear a cultural attire dress code. The dancers may use any dress code they would like for it. Usually women would use a little skirt, and men would dress with more tropical clothing, but it is not written in stone.

Does Izzy Sanabria sounds familiar to you?? i guess not. So i guess yes i understand your ignorance now. Salsa is the New York Latin Music. Cuban rhythms fused with jazz music and Sanabria put all that together under one name that he named Salsa. Now is up to you to read more and understand the concept.

Obvious talent in bellydance, newer to salsa. I would have like to see more footwork on the salsa and some different moves but it was still good because she was bending her knees and moving her hips (with the music) as expected from a good bellydancer. However, the lifts, drops and splits totally killed it. I know it's a trend in salsa to add these swing dance moves but it really takes away from the feeling of the music.

@heavenpearls22 Her name is Rita Al Zaghloul, she is from Lebanon but she and her sisters, brother and parents moved to Costa Rica many years ago. This was at the Children's museum auditorium in San Jose Costa Rica. The most impressive part... she was only 17 years old. This was in 2006.
