BMW 320i coupe e 36 (2.5i - 174 hp) VS BMW 528i e 39 (2.8i - 193 hp)

then,this occur because of 2 things : 1. 528 is automatic 2. 320i have M50 mod.

otherwise stock 320i M52B25 haveno chance. Manual 528i is equivalent with 325i M50B25 from 0-100km and better after. This was a full day of drag race testings here in my area with those 2 models. 528i stock is stronger from roll-ons than any 325i stock (e30,e36,e46),from stand still loose the start but regain equality around 100~110km and pass them from there .
