  • I agree that this is another bizarre decision by the men's technical committee (MTC). It's starting to feel like every decision the MTC takes is designed to hold gymnasts down. After all, a Kolyvanov (double-full-in to double pike) is an F, why can't this be?

  • If this is an E what the hell do you have to do for a F or G, a triple straight !

  • CoP 2011 - its E.

  • its at least an F ..no?

  • wow really an E?

  • This skill was originally submitted as a Double Arabian Piked 3/2 (or Hypolito 1/2), but upon further review the FIG has decided not to accept this as a new skill. They consider this a different technique of doing a Piked Double Salto 2/1, and are giving it an E value, where as the laidout double double is an F.

  • @uwoeric no way! how can this be when the double arabian pike is already an E... and this has 1.5 twist extra... both skills CANNOT have the same value... surely... right?!

  • @lepetitpoulet I'm just stating what I read in the recent FIG technical newsletter. I personally don't agree with the skill rating of E, but this is what they're doing. I guess maybe FIG just isn't a big fan of the skill or they want to discourage further development of this kinda skill so they're giving it a low rating.

  • its an F actually cause the hypolito is an F and thats a full out and then this is a full ana half out it would make no sense to have an extra half twist be worth less

  • no way is that an E

  • Is it only an E?
