I remember this playing while running through the N.Y.P.D hurrying to Ben (if that was the kids name) to save him from the hell hound. That boss hurt me a little cause I kinda liked the dog. Parasite Eve FOREVER!! T-T

That percussive echo of bass line piano keys hangs over your head like a 12-foot tall menacing, faceless figure. The main melody's synth harmonies practically bleed.... those notes both excited me and made me afraid when I was a child. This is my favorite boss theme of any video game, because no other boss theme has ever illustrated fear and hopelessness to me like this one.

That BGM freaks me out every time because the Bosses were all powerful when I played. Strange they didn't use it for the Triceratops battle at the museum but they did use it for the battle against Triceratops V.2 at the Chrysler Bldg Floor 40 End. Both were annoying when I fought them.

Sorry but it is not that so great ,

I was wishing something like last time , the human/animals transform into an mutated alien , if you know what i am trying to say, but now , the alien mutants looks like a huge bug or a giant robot thingy , and now aya doesnt has much powers accept diving through soldiers and process them and stuff , and the whole game looks so futuristic , like final fantasy , even the characters looks like it

God do I miss games like this from Square. Along with Xenogears, Chrono Trigger/Cross, FF6, and FF7, this was a masterpiece (though I didn't care as much for the second game). Square turned to crap after about 98' - 99'. Ever since they merged with Enix they have put out nothing but garbage...even the additional FF7 games were questionable at best. I haven't bought a game from Square since FF10 (which I absolutely hated) because the quality simply isn't there anymore.

If they made a movie, I can imagine the Cerberus boss battle as to where halfway through, Aya is thrown a grenade by Baker, she shoots a hole down through the floor with the grenade cause of the small space, Sheeva NMC falls through and Aya jumps down to a parking lot, She looks for Sheeva NMC, the NMC throws a car towards Aya, she jumps shooting through the back window, shooting her way through the front window, lands on her feet, having taken a piece of glass from the car; throws it at Sheeva.

Movie is great, not Aya but similar, this scientists wive and daughters die in a car crash so he does this gene manipulation thing with transplant organs and the trouble ensues

I've done a mistake when I've done that first comment.

I said that because a Magazine that I've read in 1998 published that the original name of the book by Hideaki Sena was KHB. And my first PE cd was in japanese, and in the intro the only words that I could read and that were in english words were KHB.

So just when I've searched KHB on the internet I've understood that it is the name of the original publisher, and not the original book name. Ok?

One of the best games I ever played, but the only problem with the one I first played is that it was a rental and the copy they had was damaged and wouldn't play the scene where the jet crashes into the Hospital. So I had to go out and buy it, I still own and play it to this day.
