i used to cycle to work before.. and then i bought a car and started being late and spending too much money on petrol and i got in debt, but then i though why don't i get back to bike which would be fun, saving me money and getting to work ontime. So i bought a nice bike from a sunday market. So, today being the second day using my bike to get to work, i was ON TIME. I actually avoided the big traffic. :-) But the problem is, some asshole drivers on the road should be dealt with firmly.
I finish work at 8' o'clock at night and last time I cycled home most of the journey was pitch black and I felt unsafe. Some car drivers are ass holes and enjoy trying to scare cyclists! I will not be put off though. ;)
Nice vid........I bike to work too.......the only thing I would suggest is that you buy a decent bike and spend decent money on it otherwise, overtime, your cheapo will require mechanical repairs and upgrading.......you get what you pay for!
I love commuting to work on my bike! It's like shooting four birds with one stone. I save money by not spending it on gas. I get a good dose of exercise. I have lost weight, and I don't have to deal with the stress of traffic. Life has become simpler and grand!
