  • My Gateway 2000 486-SX got a BSoD while running DOS-Shell on Windows 2.11

  • Look's like your hard drive may have shit the bed. lmao BSOD's where quite common in Windows 9x, lol I used to create batch files that loop(opening the same batch over and over), once Windows ran out of memory, bam! BSOD. Nice video sorry about your loss.

  • I remember when I was young and used the computer, I was always insanely of afraid of the blue screen... ;3;

  • if you turn it off then turn it back on and you have the windows 95 operating system disk you can re-install windows 95

  • what buttons are you pressing to get that classic bsod(for those who don't show this kid of bsod)

  • My iPad killed my computer

  • 1:32 - I heard some weird sounds in video, perhaps it was from this PC

  • Maybe it's your hard drive fault. Try fix the problem by buying new hard drive (new - lol).

  • you know why pc's were better? (now mac is better, since 2008) they have microsoft, you know why xbox360 is better? IT HAS MICROSOFT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its the BSOD

  • That happened to me, too! I left the thing off for a long time. Then, some time last year, I started it up again and... boom, the thing worked, and it hasn't done that again in years!

  • just get windows 7 or windows 8.

  • @exel3332011 what 8. the windows 8 didn't exist LOL

  • just get windows 7

  • this reminds me of weird al's windows 95 song

  • what kind of type of computer is it?

  • startup virus go to safe mode end go to run after start and remove virus

  • It looks like that Blue Screen of Death has the same error code that Bill Gates got in 1998.

  • the only solution to repair this computer is to fuck it and buy a PC with Win 7 !

  • Does your PC freezes (I mean stops) and BSOD appears, every time you boot Windows 95?

  • I sympathize you. I had the same thing, showed in this video. I had to format the hard disk and upgrade to Windows 98 (neither Second Edition or Plus!)

  • Bill Gates is an evil genius. The machines can never take over as long as they're running Windows!!

  • lol dont just bang on the desk, man. Chill. I had a windows 98 and it worked F-I-N-E. :) but we had to sell it, thanks to my '' dad '' -_-

  • Well your CMOS battery is dead..lol. Thats obvious.

  • jeez man, dont type so fast

  • Windos 95?! Man, I can only afford Windows 1.0!

  • it's time to upgrade to win2000 my boy...

  • insert the disk and the boot disks and format it

  • It's time to do a system restore!

  • bad hard drive ?

  • J' avais le meme écran avant !

  • @MechaNintendoMast Wasn't very funny.

  • @GenghisKhan44 I know. But its an old post.

It was funny several months ago.

  • 32MB RAM, thats why, that couldin't load alot of sites now

  • slamming the keyboard won't do anything

  • Your Computer does not work, you need to fix it!

  • put xubuntu on that shit and it'll run like a dream.

  • @Unclesamslair you are stupid xubuntu fanboy, windows 95 is a LOT better than your X(crap)ubuntu

  • R.I.P.

  • computer courrption

  • RIP windows 95 with white dot.May Microsoft be with you :)

  • You do realize that 95 is old and PSP isnt? So basicly PSP is the bad target here

  • @Ermaxproductions what do you mean "bad target"? It can run faster than that computer! Plus, PSP IS indeed a bit old, it came out in 2005 with the same old processor till now.

  • Yeah whatever i just wanted to share my point of view lol :)

  • well my 95 computer had great games like chips challenge and others.

  • I agree with you. im not a big fan of Windows 95 computers. Youll have to agree that Macintoshes or Windows 98's (or 98SE's) will run forever.

  • My Windows 98SE IBM Thinkpad blew up.

  • @Clickethis ouch

  • @Clickethis HA Ha your pc blew up. p.s Yo dumbass get a mac

  • i've got windows 7 but windows 95 is like a revulution :D

  • i have one of these

  • Sheesh, get Windows 7! 95 is SLOW

  • YA good luck trying to run that on a Pentium 166 Mhz -.-

  • Old as hell, Upgrade to windows 98SE (at least). Once had blue screen of death with windows 95 laptop.

  • computer is older then dirt

  • dont go crazy dude, lol. thats why windows 98 SE was much better, hahaha. still BSOD's sometimes but not alot.

  • should of overclocked the processor to 3 GHz and installed vista...would work like a treat :)

  • -.- it's only a windows problem... format hdd and install windows 98 SE...

  • Format the pc and reinstall Windows

  • Windows 95 was da bomb.

  • I hate ScanDisk. Every time I started up 95, 98, or Me, it would come up and take FOREVER to scan.

  • it only takes mine like 3 seconds

  • looks really bad has many registry issues malware and other falts i think your hardware is gone dude reformat with windows 3.1 wipe your hardrive

  • i remember when 95 first came out and i was going "wow! how could anything get any more futuristic than this..."

  • vista? ROFL!

  • @438426x1 My father died after the 95 presentation - blue screen came up.

  • dude i had the same exact computer back then in 1997

  • Have you thought about reanstalling windows 95 or upgrade it to windows 98.

  • Fuck

I remember that on our old IBM pentium :(]

that would happen when i'd try playing skifree... FU-

  • At 00:03 the sound that came out from the CRT monitor always scared me.

  • my computer does that i think it thinks it is a MAC XD

  • I nearly got a semi on reading them computer specs, 166mhz processor!!!!!!!

  • 2gb harddrive? OMG :O LMAO.

  • Have you tried replacing the cmos battery? I happened to notice the time coming up.

  • 1:49 OWNED

  • Could you have a givaway for that pc?

    Like a YouTube givaway?

  • thats not the blue screen of death , thats a error message for a bad driver . You reinstalled windows95 now you need to install the drivers you dumbass then it run fine .

  • Umm i'll think you'll find i never reinstalled 95 on this machine and it has the stock operating system. Has done for 14 years.

  • @number9ark Don't say that. It makes us comp. repairers get less money. But still, the OP is a fag.

  • windows 95 doesnt like u :O

  • my windows 98 se loves me but it some times lagg a bit >:( hmm im gonna try to put 1gb on ram in there >:)

  • My XP loves me long as I promise not to kick it out the window lolz, cause when i kick it out window it doesnt wanan start till I give it new hardware :(

  • Careful, Windows 98, 98SE, and Millenium are only built to handle a max of 512MB, unless the manufacturer put more in.

    95- 256M

    98/98/Me- 512M

    2000/XP/Vista- 3/4G

    Vista 64bit- 8G

    ^^Sonic Android^^

  • wow i didnt know that windows 98 98SE and ME can handle 512MB thanks

  • Oh and don`t forget to run scandisk and disk defrigmenter once in a while. Yes its boring but it will keep windows 98 in the best shape.

  • Vista Ultimate and Enterprise 64-Bit can handle 180Gigs (really)

  • Not relly. when i tried 1GB on Virtual pc it seamed stable.

  • 1 Gb of ram will work. I`ve tried it before on VPC07.

  • yay!!!!!

  • I've never seen a Windows OS from Windows 95 or higher that has not had the blue screen, dammit gates!

  • I have a Windows 98' that still works. :=P

  • i have windows 98, 95 and 3.11 on CD lol

  • if your pc that dosent mean your pc dies... try to go in safe_mode and do some stuff or just reinstall Windows 95

  • it may seem just the OS would do that, but believe it or not,it depends on the brand of computer u get, i had a compaq presario 5024 with 60 mhz 4gb HDD and crashed. its how cheap they built the computer

  • its the ram its low try replacing the Ram

  • i got the blue screen on my school's computer. dont know the specs, though

  • LOL CAVE MAN PC

  • @oneshot1kill1eye its 12 years old....-_- (but i still want that computer!)

  • @oneshot1kill1eye err, then what do you call a MS DOS pc? prehistory pc?

  • The golden years of the 5gb hard disks.

  • ha... less memory than an smart phone. and the phone can do more too.

  • I think it's time to upgrade to Windows 98, buddy.

  • lol

  • OR WINDOWS 7 ON A FATBACK MONTIER

  • @isselman2000 windows 98 does fix some bugs but brings in a ton of new ones with it's "internet integration" so it's like installing vista over xp.

  • Or at least Windows 95 plus. ;o)

  • what the hell were you doing like..........

are you hitting your key board are some thing.

  • That was the only downside of Windows 95 - the MASSIVE startup issues, you had to run ScanDisk like, on every boot lol

  • Dies? Ehm, i have also the BSOD and my computer will working!!!

  • 32MB RAM LOLOLOLOLO :P

  • Within

    The

    Next

    20

    Years

    That'll

    Easily

    Be

    GB

    Lol

  • Very fast PC,i want to have one

  • lol u got pissed at it!

  • i've killed once a windows vista i blown it up (the power block) poof and he died... i could save the hd at time!!

  • Well, when you beat the s**t out of the keyboard, SOMETHING is going to happen. lol

  • i loved this OS it was one of the best ones to run in VPC too, Windows 98 crashes more in VPC, and 95 has WAY better startup sounds!

  • Man, i am OBSESSED with these old computers. Especially 95 and 98 and what not.

  • Same here!

  • Thats cool, any old computers?

  • Not really, I have one old laptop and one old desktop but they both don't work, as in don't turn on (desktop does but freezes at BIOS, I'm sure I could get it to work somehow anyways). It would be funny to have a shiny new Samsung LCD, fancy Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse (with PS/2 adapters of course), fancy speakers and to top it off a fancy printer with a bunch of adapters to make it work, all on a beige Windows 98 computer with a keyslot. (or 95, whatever is best, lol)

  • Same Here!

  • I am too! I bought one of these for $12 at a sale.... :D $10 for CPU, keyboard and mouse, $2 for monitor.

I was going to use it to practise upgrading, but now I don't want to touch it, it brings back too many memories...

  • luv the retro

  • i knowes. when i was 4 i used to pla yon my W98 comp playing C&C aaah

  • I got a blue screen on my Windows 95 also and it looked just like this, and some way we fixed it and now it's running normal.

  • geez i wish i could let u barrow my pc it workes fine!!!!

  • wow... that remids me of them sounds the computer ( windoew 95 ) used to make when i star it up. it was like this, touch button and it sounds like a plane landing!

  • I love windows 95. It had more "wow" than Vista, thats for sure.

  • reinstal the windows XD

  • I have that same moniter.

  • 2 gb hdd and 32 mb ram, those were the days

  • yeah and now they make big hdds like 1 terrabyte

  • yes indeed , and if you have 1TB , there will be hdd with more capacity. ( sorry if my english is bad)

  • Once i get my 95 machine (i love tinkering around with antiques), if you tell me the specs i'll make it a memorial file a la NetHack.

  • Windows 95 is not antique just garbage, DOS is antique and I don't mean 6.22 but the first incarnations.

In computers without harddisks but floppy's, man I wish I would still have my first PC.

  • Well, either way, irregardless of the OS, a windows 95 computer can be made usefull if your main comp doesn't have a floppy drive...(Sure, there are USB 3 1/2 drives, but i've never seen any USB 5 1/2 drives, plus it's nice to give a old computer a new lease on life. Simple computers for simple tasks, after all.)

  • True but not as usefull as the space it consumes.

So my only reason to keep an old PC would be nostalgia / antique and this one isn't old enough.

  • Well, it'd at least be useful as a example of a Win '95 PC (Sure, you could use VPC for that, but VPC and VMware don't give you tangible computers, just lame emulated ones.

  • windows 95.. it was the computer that taught me how to type something in less than 4 seconds.. it had to die...

  • from jay cotton , its dead dude .

  • We have an xp professional, media centre xp and vista pc's . This is just one of our old ones

  • lol mentaly chalanged old comp...you know the hardrivre probably crashed or the battery lost charge while running or because your virtual memory hadent bin used in a long time

  • Besides, why get rid of it if you can still have fun playing around with it?

  • lol scandisk.

  • Goodbye 95 :(

  • The computer has feelings too!

  • sorry for sarcasm btw
