The music is way overproduced and too loud at the chorus, making it sound cheap and killing her vocal job during the verses. The original is much more balanced . She was a Christian, then sold out and became a media whore.
@greentaylor123 It's definitely more soulful but you can't beat the original. I got this on My Nickelodeon's Kid's choice CD. I haven't listened it for a couple of years. This was one of my favorite songs from the album.
