Im assuming the parents or the teacher is making that poor kid move like that while she plays. I dont understand why thats forced upon kids, its a sign of expression and enjoyment while playing the music. If a kid is not mature enough to understand and express the music then dont force them to make unneccesary movements like that.
@AngryKhan Except, no one has confirmed that this child was forced to move like that. Sometimes the body movement is more about memorisation techniques/concentration than "emotion"; It can occur naturally. I don't disagree that It's a shame some children are made to over-express an emotion that they may not be feeling, but any piece of music may call for us to "fake" an emotion when playing it. You may not be feeling cheerful when playing a cheerful song, but you have to make it sound that way.
Wow! Another super talented musician here on YouTube! What an interesting composition you've chosen here too. I've certainly never heard it before. I assume it is a kind of traditional Chinese Piano composition. Great job!
Thanks for sending the Yellow River Concerto. That's one of our favorites too. I don't know what caused the wide screen effect - I didn't choose that when I uploaded the video. It cut off the edges and also stretched the video horizontally. Is there a way to change to the normal screen?
This was played beautifully! I can only imagine how well you play it now :)
