actually none of those grunts die becuz they ran out of the tower before it doomsdayed and 2 it cant really charge his shields inlease he has it on his back

and the staff bearer does not get destroyed because the superweapon supercharges his gun and sheilds him so that very little can damage him. the only thing that can destoy him is battle station. yup, i tried to fail and it worked.

im not sure about that one, it doesn't say. maybe the person with the staff only survives. or maybe they get airlifted away, or buried under the rubble, to be reawakened in Battalion wars 1 (this mission is 200 years ago, and BWI is around 15 years ago.

they are at war because lord ferrok, ruler of old xylvania, created an army, of which none could resist, only the solar empire is unconquered but is on the brink. A superweapon is created, and a strike battalion with the staff bearer (the person carrying the staff - superweapon) is deployed. but at the first moment, lord ferrok notices this and bombs the strike battalion.all hope is lost. but a lone grunt who was too far away picked up the staff. then him and a band of survivers deploy the staf

It's an early demo version of the game at a convention where not everybody is a skilled gamer. It, and many other demos present at Leipzig, are intentionally made easier than the final product, so that anyone can have fun and not die all the time whilst playing.

he didnt die because he was holding the staff that gives him supernatural defensive and offensive abilities. i know cause i got the game (:D!) and this level is like 200 years ago... and stuff... yeah you just have to play the game lol this is the prologue mission
