Last night in New York City our summer camps Swago&Swatonah had a forty year reunion. One of our talented girls composed a CD of great songs from that era. Had the opportunity to play the music today and this version of See You In September by far was the top of the heap! The boys from Paterson, Nj really got it right. This record was made by two groups--The Tempos and The Happenings. I prefer this version, although this does not sound like their original recording. See you in September has a special meaning for me. In April of 1966 I enlisted in the Army and this song was released in June of that year. I listened to it thru Basic and AIT hoping to get home on leave In September to see my Girl. I got home but she wasn't there. That's Life! Many guys never made it home at all. God bless them. Ron
