Lowest looks worse than Morrowind (more like Oblivion for the N64 except for the massivley low draw draw distance) Highest looks better than the X360/PS3 versions

PC games might be slightly better looking than console games when they're at highest settings, but at least with a console you're going to get it at it's near best without worrying if it's gonna run. I don't have enough money to get a high end PC in time for SKYRIM, so I'm probably gonna get it for xbox.

It didn't look that bad on my old laptop, and that laptop sucked. It had a 1.6GHZ single core processor, 2gb ddr1 ram and a 128mb graphics card. It ran at about 20fps (somehow xD) most of the time but when you go inside it runs at about 30-40fps

@OnlyRemaining You might just be able to run it however you would be playing on very low settings, If you upgraded the graphics card inside your machine and maybe put an extra gb of RAM in you might be able to bump it up to high depending what card you get.

i had a videocard right from the stone era, so i had to play on shitty the shit's settings. not as bad as there, i had a view that gone all over but is still sucked monkeyballs. now i got a ATI Radeon 4350, Put it in my PC, ran oblivion and i thought, LOL ITS LOOKING NICELY :P

and i had been playing for around 2,5 days, without food... lol now im HUNGRY... better dont tell my boss hell be pissed monday xD bcuz i have a 3day lan party and after that new years eve party's... no sleeping... lol

It's not fake. You're confusing low quality setting with LOWEST, which includes the lowest draw distance as well. Everything was turned down, even some of the stuff that would stay under low quality vs. LOWEST.

I've only played Oblivion, but I can say it's an amazing RPG that will eat away hours/weeks of your time to complete. It's very open ended and it looks amazing.

Fallout 3 is by the same game makers of Oblivion, and i've herad it's a similar game experience in a different story/setting/etc.

Can't go wrong with ether game.

Don't know if I'm too late to answer, but I suggest you should get Oblivion. I've played them both, and Oblivion rules Fallout 3 anyday. Why? Because Oblivion has a longer story line and much more to do InGame. Bethesda said that Fallout 3 and Oblivion would be the same size, and sure, they are... If you buy all the expansions for Fallout 3. :P
