this is horrible and i agree it should be taken down, but imo i think the reason its taking so long for it to be off market is because there are so many other things that people are trying to recall. just think about it, in a child body and mind, anything can be dangerous.

you asked "How confident are you about corder window coverings?" My answer: Very confident. They are there to to raise and lower the blinds and they work perfectly. I feel sorry for the loss of those people that were affected by this but I don't think that something like this should go as far as recalling the product itself when some of it could be attributed to user error or negligence. Thanks for the awareness though, next time i'll make sure to either get vertical blinds or regular courtains

OMG.... I Have a two year old who has touched our  cords many time's,this scared the crap out of me! I started crying with the mom....I'm ripping down these shades right now!

step 1:take scissors

step 2:cut off cords

Even when you cut them short, you can still open the window shade which makes the cord long again. Also if you cut the cords short, inner cords can STILL be pulled out. Please see our website for more information. I sure wish it was that easy, but children still die, even with short pull cords.

Why don't you contact someone who handled the case of Abigail Taylor the little girl who lost most of her intestines out of her rectum into a wading pool drain in Minneapolis, MN? They made all drains must be checked. She may be able to help you to fight against the ignorant manufacturers.Your video is very powerful. Oh that's awful and upsetting!!!!!! I cried when I saw that lifeless child by window and many children at the end of the video. I have cordless blinds. But I have only one large blind with cords. I will tie them really high away from my grandchildren.
