  • Im an American and I absolutely loath this event. Why put out 100000 dollar prizes and not let the people who havbe trained their entire lives even compete for it?

  • What a fucking joke. All this hard bat advertisements, but you can never see a game. Fuck off.

  • hardbats so lame i dont like it :(

  • what a shame!

  • Did I mention the ridiculous handicap point system that was used in the tournament. Now comon people think that a tennis player can be good at ping pong and beatv the hell out of the pro's. C'mon don't make me laugh jajajja

  • This tournament was a joke. The americans had finally done it . first this is not table tennis . This is the way the game was played 50 years ago. since that time the americans never made it into the top players appart from semiller and bogan. Bringing harbat back from the dead so they can be good at something.

  • @ikaros21 who said they were ever good at ping pong? this tournament was to bring back the "fun" aspects of the game, which i think is a joke btw. TT has evolved and the US just never could keep up with everyone else, so we created our own tournament... for entertainment, not to be good at something.

  • it's hardbat. many asians play with sponge. I'm asian though and i play hardbat. i am soooo glad they made it hardbat. hope to attend next year

  • Correction, dude at 0:23 IS Abu Fayed from 24 - Day 6

  • LOVE this game

  • Why aren't there more Asians?

  • I agree - I thought this was an Asian-dominated sport...just like Badminton

  • This is Hardbat, the recreational version of Ping Pong. It's a slower version of the game where spin doesn't matter as much.

The videos where you see top players (mostly asians) are played with a soft rubber racket that is much faster and spinier. This "real version" of the sport is the one played in most of the world.

Budligt choose hardbat because is much easier for beginners to play with in an attempt to popularize the sport.

  • @APviKINGsz28 Because they play the proper modern version of table tennis. Bats with different kinds of rubber. More skill involved.
