I agree. It'd compliment the voice work well.

But to elaborate on my point, I feel Frieza's killing of Krillin pretty much defined how evil and sadistic he truly was.

Krillin wasn't even a threat to him. Frieza just wanted top make Goku suffer. Underneath all his refined mannerisms is a complete and utter psychopath.
