1. Lift Heavy (but not out of your range) Must be Compound Exercises ie. Squats, Lunges, Dips, Heaves/Chins, Bench press etc. and be explosive when you push/pull.
2. Eat Heavy (Carbs, Fats, Protein)
3. Don't waste money on supplements (instead buy good lean meats, greens etc.)
4. Rest & Recover. (Don't over train, Take time off to recover and make sure you get your sleep)
5. Set goals to Lift heavier, gradually (This will not happen overnight)

Ok..Why are you taking that much multivitamin? Most of it you will just piss away. Body cant absorbe so much at once. Did you saw thoose amounts? Glutamine? definitely one of the most overhyped suplements. You allready have glutamin in your whey protein+body can produce it if needed (not like creatin).
your killin' me.... ive got a guy HALF my muscle size showing me and other youtube people what suppps to take for muscle growth?? sorry to be rude, but make the video AFTER your 3 months, THEN make a video.
@WTSMiniEvenniaLOL I don't take all these supplements at one time, I just made this video to help people learn about the main supplements out there. I take 5g creatine, fish oils, a multi, and about 2 scoops of whey protein for the most part. Here and there I might add in 1 or 2 others to my stack depending on my goals.
@KingRell94 I used to drink milk with my protein, but it gave me digestion issues. I'm not discouraging it though, since I used to drink milk with it. But I think dextrose + whey is a little better.
guys i was 114kg - 186 cm ... im now 77 kg - 188cm ... i lost the weight in a year by following a good diet and workout... i have extremely ripped abs and everything by only following the healthy path .. dont take supplements ... my cousin did and now he has some kind of a skin rash or disease ...
your first 4 are important the rest arent really needed. they may occur naturally in your body but they arent proven to have any positive effects on muscle gain when added into the body. Creatine and Protein are proven to help.
I do THINK that the best supplement is not pushing like a pussy ... BIG DEADLIFT BIG SQUAT BIG BENCH BIG POWER CLEANS AND OVERHEAD + TIREFLIPS THATS MOTHERFUCKING 'S IT!
Hey man, ive been taking preworkout for more than a year. I would like to know if its safe to take it 3 times a week without going through the cycling process. Ive been doing this and ive only seen gains so far. Thanks.
He's probably the biggest ectomorph I've seen ever. You guys are asking for mass, look at the video. I can certainly tell that if he truly is an ectomorph he's grown even without looking at past videos.
omg you eat all those supplements and you are looking so skinny and you dont have any muscles,i dont use any of this and i have arm bigger then his body but i train alot and eat properly
Hey man, im currently taking International Kre Alkaline as a preworkout, then i take an intraworkout, and am currently using body science rapid growth, as a post workout, is that all i need to do in terms of supplements. with my goals being to gain lean muscle, and strength
Supplements will give you a 5-10% edge when your diet and muscle growth program is perfect. When you are doing everything absolutely perfect. One of my friends do like you... take 20 pills and a crazy amount of powder three times a day. I take a multivitamin, fish oil and a shake after my workout. My muscle gain is about 30% better than his in the last two years we have been training. Something tells me that my diet is better than his. Numbers don't lie. Genes is not the answer.
You are like really skinny and have a really low amount of muscle on your body and give advice about how to train and take a huge amount of supplements. You have really put your focus the wrong place. You are probably one of those persons that believe they are healthy because you take all those supplements but you are not. Your training probably lacks or you are a total beginner. Here is what to do: Eat more and train harder. Make sure you get a really good program. Dont give people bad advice.
@nathanstrength sorry man i didnt look at ur new videos which were nice , im sorry maybe its the shirt which doesnt fit ur muscles:p OR MAYBE cuz this video is 5months old and yeah im beginer forgive me:p
@awdirawad I don't get why people have so much of a stigma towards supplements. Fish oils, vitamin D3, multivitamins are all going to make me live longer and healthier. Whey protein and weight gainers are just filtered out milk. Beta alanine, creatine, glutamine are all amino acids that naturally occur in the body. The only thing that may affect my health long-term is the traces of artificial sugars and flavoring in protein products, but people don't seem to mind eating diet soda's and skittles.
Hi, there. I really enjoy your videos and subscribed. Could you please answer this tho, would you advise creatine? Because i've read up a lot of negative effects of it. I.e. with your kidneys etc. especially if you don't drink enough water each day. Also when you do take creatine do you use the 'loading phase' or simply ttake 5g a day? Thanks.
@RoccosReptiles I think whey protein post work out is very important. Creatine increases power which will allow you to push more weight and build muscle. I use both.
@darkknight302 Animal pak isn't a supplement you take to get quick, noticeable results. It's a supplement I take to make sure I'm in tip-top shape at all times. Eventually you'll notice that days where you don't feel your best can really add up and take away from gains in the long run. It's definitely not essential, but it's a great help.
@nathanstrength i took animal pak for a year and cycled test and m stak during that period. i would be bloated and sick to my stomach with the number of pills i had to eat but still i stuck with it and i've been off of them for a year now and i'm seeing the same gains and feel better while working out.
check out mass fusion. you'll take this with your post protein shake. it breaks down your proteins faster then your body does so that way your body absorbs more of it and you will get better results!
You have good camera presence, your voice projects well and you have good diction and enunciation with good body movement. Your video production values are good, but the echo in that kitchen is hideous. You need a hardwired microphone to help with the sound.
Love the Merillat cabinetry and hardware. No evidence of pizza, beer and bongs, always a good sign.
Thanks for the advice, sadly we can't afford any technical stuff yet as we are just doing this out of our pocket money. In this video, Nathan had me and my HD camera but he needed a camera when Im not around so he recently purchased an HD cam for his own.. I doubt that we'll be able to buy a hardwired mic soon and the kitchen is just the best room where we can get good lighting. Sorry about that.
@imangelanjo You do good work with what you have Angel! Cut the distance between the talent and the camera by half and the sound quality will improve. Consider maybe climbing up on a ladder and shooting down into a three-quarter overhead shot, that may help also. I prefer good lighting to good sound any day.
i have a problem lol my biceps are quite big like 14inches but my forearms are so skinny and it makes me freaked out everytime i look at 'em. does mass gainer supplements really works for gaining weight.? im too anxious to gain weight lol..
if calories consumed > calories burned then you will gain weight.
Weight gainers aren't magical - they just have a lot of calories per serving, increasing the calories consumed part of the equation. They make it a bit easier.
well i've been on your site quite a bit and i think i'm an analyst, i do plan ahead as in i want to know what to do when i reach my optimum body weight and i do look at a lot of routines but i do work my ass off in the gym, i'm on rippetoes but am going to quit because i had a muscle spasm around my cocsix whilst deadlifting so instead im probably going to start your mass workout or make my own.
are you saying that u work in phases to get your goal, so do mass, strength, then cut and repeat?
And for 2011 I'll be doing mass, then either work on strength or cut (not 100% sure yet).
You injured yourself from dead lifting probably because your form is off. I think you should definitely try and work out the form issues and continue dead lifting since it's such a beneficial exercise.
@nathanstrength i will try, normally my form is perfect but it was the end of my rippetoes routine for that day and i had a reset on my deadlift and made it quite light, only 27.5kg each side, i lifted it too quickly and heard a pop and cudn't stand up str8. I think i'll start to do your mass workout though, is it good to do cardio whilst doing the mass routine or not? and how many days a week do you workout with this workout?
@nathanstrength oh thts kwl, with the three phases, how long can u take on them, can u do like two weeks for each phase to put on muscle or wud tht maintain ur weight?
wow you take a lot of supplements, but good luck man, look forward to seeing how you end up looking after three months, after this are you going to try and maintain your weight and physique or try and gain more after shredding? I fyou could give tips on maintaining your weight tht would be great .

well i've been on your site quite a bit and i think i'm an analyst, i do plan ahead as in i want to know what to do when i reach my optimum body weight and i do look at a lot of routines but i do work my ass off in the gym, i'm on rippetoes but am going to quit because i had a muscle spasm around my cocsix whilst deadlifting so instead im probably going to start your mass workout or make my own.
are you saying that u work in phases to get your goal, so do mass, strength, then cut and repeat?

Yeap, I find phases are most effective.

@shmofo12345
I do the work out in 4 day cycles, so day 1 - 4, then repeat (sometimes I'll take a rest day)

wow you take a lot of supplements, but good luck man, look forward to seeing how you end up looking after three months, after this are you going to try and maintain your weight and physique or try and gain more after shredding? I fyou could give tips on maintaining your weight tht would be great .

@shmofo12345
I'll probably cut down, work on strength for a bit, and then repeat the process.
My ultimate goal is 210 at less than 10% body fat.
What exactly do you want to know about maintenance?
