  • Agreed! This is my baby I'm working with. He is now 3 and LOVES to swim. We have a blast at the pool and I can watch him and not have to depend on a flotation device. When a child drowns it is an accident and a tragedy. Anyone who has more than 1 child knows that you cannot possibly keep your eyes on them 100% of the time. This is a program to give your child an extra layer of protection should supervision lapse. It's NOT a replacement for supervision. I thank God daily for my children and ISR.

  • I love the ignorance of people saying stuff like just keep your children away from water. That's why you call it an accident, sparky.

  • @sonyachelle here here!

  • omg ?????????

  • ISR is science based and teaches your child to respond to the stimulus of the water and becomes a second nature response if they are in an emergency. My boys will never remember a time when they couldn't swim. They are ages 3 and 5 and are little fish. I can't keep them out of the water. Just check out my videos to see them now. I love sitting at the pool watching them swim. The skills haven't replaced supervision and never will, but I know if God forbid, it ever lapsed, they could survive.

  • Hi, sadly many drownings occur while "under supervision." Drowning is silent. I was in the pool talking to a mom, 3 feet away from my son when he slipped off the steps into water over his head. I never saw or heard it. However, he was ISR trained and flipped over on his back & floated. I feel it is worse to teach children that water is fun without giving them the skills they need to protect themselves from drowning. If they only associate the water as fun, then that is when the accidents occur.

  • This is so simple people, keep your baby away from water. Then you don't have to force it to learn to swim and feel so uncomfortable against it's will, for your own awe and entertainment. Would you STILL leave them alone at the pool even though you make them do this? Of course not. At least you are enjoying yourselves!

  • @imingzee Oh gosh it's ignorant clueless people like you who should never breed any human life into this world. If you've had children then i feel sorry and pity for them. Accidents happen and you can't keep your eye on a baby 24.7. Eventually they will be with a baby sitter, grandparents, etc and eventually they will walk. You can even drown in a tub with a inch of water. These parents who do this are the smart, loving parents and i applaud them. They no how to raise there babies RIGHT!

  • @imingzee That is possibly one of the most stupid comments I have ever seen on youtube.. This girl did not train her child to do this for her own entertainment, she did it to possibly save her child's life. How dare you try and make it out to be anything more than for her own amusement. If you had lost a child by drowning, you would think otherwise! The child is not uncomfortable. He instantly knew to roll onto his back to breathe. Only thing simple, is you.

  • omg I am a mom and this scared me for a minute

  • That poor baby looks terrified

  • unbelievable

  • how could this kid do it with out drowning really strange

  • *burururururuuru* XD

I freaked out for a second, but when I saw the baby turn over and start blowin, I started smiling. Hopefully, when I get married and whatnot and we have a kid, I'll have the courage to put him/her in a swimming class. Of course, though, I'll be within a 2 foot diameter at all times~

  • scared the crap out of me!! I was gasped and held my breath the whole time!!! VERY hard to watch... but I hope I will have the strength to put my baby in this program

  • Oh my gosh! Honestly in all my years I've never seen a baby swim before! WOW!

  • this is scary at the beging when she flipped him over it look like he was gonna drown!

  • This is fascinating, interesting and really scary at the same time. One gets all protective, watching babies in situation with so much potential danger....

  • I also think this way babies are able to strengthen much better their back muscles for keeping the head straight --> no posture problems in the future :-D

  • Scary.... but it can save their life

  • Very impressive!

  • Wow...scared me but then impressed :)

  • I would be so freaked out for my child to be doing that! But... way to go, it would come in handy.

  • this baby is good huh

  • this baby is good huh!

  • They do need refresher lessons. Usually one or two weeks depending on how long it has been since their initial lessons. It is best if they come every 6 months to a year.

  • do they ever forget what they have learned or do you have to put them in a refresher class?

  • he wasnt even crying but instaed he is blowing bubbles .!! gosh this is amazing!

  • omg i was scared watching it but im going to do the same when ih ave my baby

  • wow the child isn't even crying but is, rather, blowing bubbles! Great video
