@oopogfe8 haha i know right? our show this year was terrible! we didnt really have alot of returners. in batter litterally everyone except one person was on something new 2nd semster. we ran 6(basses) 4 (tenors) and 4(snares) first semester. eveyone who was on bass was either a freshamn or never marched before. it wa even worse 2nd semester cause our divisin grew almost by half and we got 4th out of 8 tying wit Liberty High School :P

@TenorChick12 ahhh, yeah, luckily we only lost a few seniors. but yeah, David and Ryan were both from our school. and David was our section leader last year too. Our season this year was pretty good though, we narrowly won our championships, so that was exiting, but we only traveled out of town once... so we didn't really get a lot of time going against the really good schools, but it was still pretty fun.

thats good. our city is messed up an dd this whole "you cant go more than 150 miles out of town" thing so thats why we didnt o anywhere ourselves. we were suppose to go to SCPA down in Rancho ut theweater was bad so we ere upset about that but we really werent ready. what was your sow this year?

yeah luckily we don't have that rule, but we just had a lot of money issues this year, cause our Wind Symphony just went to Indianapolis for a concert band festival. Our show this year was called the Forecast.. its like a story about a guy who gets diagnosed with a terminal illness.. it turned out pretty good. what was yours?

i don't understand the whole marching percussion thing. i just don't know what i'm supposed to enjoy i suppose. this coming from a person who has done color guard and winter guard for 5 years, i don't know what i am supposed to be watching.

@coryw4 well, we have music, visuals and movement which all combine to make a show that gives the audience an experience with their eyes and ears. What i look for in a show, is how the music sounds if the drumline is together with the pit and if it's clean. Also like how the show unfolds and how the visual aspects compliment the theme of the show. i hope that helped.

@oesdoob yes. that does help actually lol i guess i'm just too inthralled with the whole "Where are the flags, rifles, sabres, and dancing?" i'm just used to seeing moving color with flags and more movement with dancing i suppose. but that you oesdoob, that does help

@coryw4 haha you're welcome. And I definitely get what you mean by where's the flags and stuff. I really love watching color guard shows. There was a WGI in my city and I went to watch and I absolutely loved like everyone's show. Vanguard was ah amazing. So was Imbue. Percussion and guard kinda of have the same demand when it comes to visuals and performance..
