I wouldn't worry about that. Today's robotics is still at the intellectual of an insect.

Besides I think this is just a natural stage in OUR OWN evolution, technology is simply an extension and refinement of that which makes us human to begin with. The robot apocalypse visions are but projections of guilt and inadequacy at the demands of power.

If there ever is a true AI I would consider it no less human as it is in essense an extension of the intelligences that created it, our progeny.
