@AssasinFX There's no point in having a channel with 7000+ subscribers if he only gets an average of 150 views a video. He just wants to clean out the rubbish and get an active subscriber base that actually cares for his videos. It's better having 200 constant views from 300 subscribers, than getting 150 views from an inactive 7000 subscribers.

It's a good move in my opinion. Active subscribers are what motivates people to keep making videos.
