to be honest you're not that great of a reviewer. you need to do something about it that'll make me want to keep watching it. but i do think you're right about it being a bad game. i found it very boring and repetitive and never got around to finishing.

Ive seen reveiws much beter than this. If youre going 2 make a reveiw, mayb u shuld focus the camra on the game, and NOT your face. You barely even told what the game was exactly about. like u sed the storyline was pretty childish, and thats not teling us realy anything about the storyline, apart from childish. And I dont think peple realy care about wat u think, like who the hel cares if you go around hacking at bunnies and zombies. I'll see what other people think though. 1/5

I guess i sort of agree with you, but not entirely, the game gets boring if you play it to often, but it is a good hack and slash spg to just pick up on the go. it's fast and fun, but not for everyone

I agree. I am used to the super nintendo ones (back when squaresoft wern't with enix) Secret of mana was defenitly the best followed by the japanese sequal. Legend for playstation was average, It lost what it had and ditched everything that made it awesome. But this now... Enix and square were awesome seperatly but with games not like final fantasy for gamecube and this. Well they really have lost their best ideas.

Yet again RPG's must not be your best genre. Doesn't the name "Children of Mana" suggest that the story might be revolved around children?? Also you seem to think that attacking is mainly "button mashing". Whereas in my opinion to be succesful you need to be able to use your attached spirit with tactical precision and your attacks need to be good enough to keep you safe. Poor review man.

Come on, people! Children of Mana was worse than every other mana game out there, and I'd know since I've played the first 3. It's the only one in which there is no challenge in getting up to and getting through a level. It's repetative. Also, what were they thinking with the final boss? I didn't get hit ONCE and that was my first time facing it! The enemies are REALLY easy in this game, in fact, too easy when you think about it!

You don't even need the gems to beat this game. I got through every level accept the last one without equipping gems, and that's because I never bothered to try them until that point. Yeah, the old games were more like Zelda and provided some challenge getting up to levels. This game just warps you to the levels and provides no interesting backstory behind the levels. Plus, there's only one safe area in the whole game.

Other than Final Fantasy VII, the mana games have beaten any other square games ever made. The game was fun, and it gets challenging and normally people think something is "boring" when they can't beat it, is all.
