nice..... and if you had 2 trekking poles to use on the enterence it would be even easier to get in and out, and if you angled the bottoms of them towards the back it would tention the ridgeline too with no cordage necessary.
Yet another reason I should pick up the Kelty Noah 12. I think the 9 is a bit more minimalist than I want. Will the 12 work well pitched as a square rather than a diamond?
@otter46544 Yes, it will pitch square, but because of it's shape it "bows" down slightly in the middle. You can see an example of it in my "Tarp Ridgeline" video.
@ArsonHammockHanger Thanks for directing me to the ridgeline video. Actually I meant to ask if it worked well pitched square for the hammock. I answered that myself by rewatching you Hoosier Hang video. I also noticed you have a bunch of videos I somehow missed. I will now watch them.
Thanks, Arson. I really like that idea, and own a Kelty 9 and 12 Noah, so will try 9like you said, unlikely to work with a 9). Hey, is that the Kelty that you colored? It looks gray. I wish mine was anything but stark white, as you say, for stealth camping, not so good. Any ideas? Is your color-fast even in rain? Thanks CK1
Great video, thanks for the information. Simple, yet effective. In a pinch, depending on the terrain, you could make tent stakes out of small branches. Thanks for sharing.

Nice, had that tarp out last weekend, wish I had rigged it that way. Great backup for the hammock rig.

Sweet! Now I can use my other non-hammock tarps. They're so big and bulky, but this way makes it easy to set up! Bravo Arson!
