Assalamu Aleykoum, There is a masjid in Kiev and an Islamic school, I visited before and prayed in. I am from Ukraine and live in US now. In Ukraine, one should almost buy live and slaughter it in halal way, which is not that difficult. I accepted Islam 15 yrs ago, Alhamdulillah and wear hijab. But we do need to work more on dawwa and translations of the Islamic literature. The more Allah tests us, the better reward.
Alhamdulillah there is Halal food. But I cannot help you with the places. Maybe you can ask KarimahUA , she lives there and should know these places inshaa Allah.

I'm from Ukraine. I live in Kyiv for 10 years. Alhamdulilah we have a big Islamic Center in Kyiv with many possibilities (on 25-A Dehtyarivska Str.). There are some halal cafe-restaurants also. Here is a good Islamic bookstore. We can purchase halal meat and sausages. Islamic center is opened from fajr till isha-time everyday.

Many people didn't know this. Before, they were not even allowed to learn about anything else, during the communist time. Very sad. Imagine.
Many Christians now don't even know their own religion, nor have read the bible.. My family is like that. They call themselves Christians but don't follow it, and haven't even read their book. (...)

Christianity became a nationality, a cultural thing, but not a religion anymore...
I was a christian myself. Then I learned about Islam and about the prophets which were sent by God. And I read God's last book (Qur'aan) and I understood that this is the religion which came after Christianity and that Christianity is invalid now because a new law came down (the Qur'aan). The same happened when Jesus was sent to the people and the Judaism became invalid as well..

Salam to all my brothers and sisters in Islam! our ukrainian community is growing ! i just want to request all muslims- dont be ashamed of ur traditions and ur country and who u r being a muslim! it is so important ..! and ppl, plz, dont be so weak about meat..halal meat..haram meat.. at the time of prophet (sas) people hardly were eating meat once in a week, some were eating only during eid ul-fitr!so don't be so much spoiled..as for me i became a vegetarian!NO to meat YES to fish!lol

as salamu alaykum. i know how you feel. i used to live in ukraine when i was younger. we left 13 years. it was so hard living there amongs those who didnt share the same way of life as you. we would pray at home and slaughter animals at a farm ourselves. things were difficult. im not from ukraine originally. im from afghanistan but we went to their schools and had ukrainian friends.

@Michael53201 после долгих сомнений,подробных изучений,сравнений и прочего,я заметила,что не веру в Троицу,не верю,что надо молиться святым и вся жизнь в церкви и монастырях напоминет театр.Да они искренне верят,что это Истинна,но то что там происходит это неправильно!

Assalamu Aleykoum, There is a masjid in Kiev and an Islamic school, I visited before and prayed in. I am from Ukraine and live in US now. In Ukraine, one should almost buy live and slaughter it in halal way, which is not that difficult. I accepted Islam 15 yrs ago, Alhamdulillah and wear hijab. But we do need to work more on dawwa and translations of the Islamic literature. The more Allah tests us, the better reward.

I also live in Cherkasy, I am also a muslim and i do wear hijab, me and my kids are the only muslims in my family. But going to the mosque in our city helps me to strengthen my iman. it is possible to find halal food here. I study basis of islam and arabic. It is ok and possible to be muslim in Cherkassy, Alhamdulillah!!!! Although it is true too many people do stare at me especially in summer:) I also lived in different countries for some time. please contact me.

I'm from Ukraine. I live in Kyiv for 10 years. Alhamdulilah we have a big Islamic Center in Kyiv with many possibilities (on 25-A Dehtyarivska Str.). There are some halal cafe-restaurants also. Here is a good Islamic bookstore. We can purchase halal meat and sausages. Islamic center is opened from fajr till isha-time everyday.
