@mdzacharias The board is broken in half, with half missing (power switch and LED side) ... Not sure what happened to it from the previous owner but everything else seems to work just fine. Otherwise it is in mint condition... Do you know of anyone that may be able to track these boards down? There has to be someone out there willing to sell this part.
@BSF801132957 The only way I know of is keep an eye out on eBay for a used or broken one. I think it's a recent model, so a parts unit might not come up for a long time...

Hi Mark, i have a AV Receiver Sherwood Newcastle R-772 and floor standing speakers canton LE109. Speakers are rated from the manufacturer between 4-8 ohms. When i punch the receiver close to max volume is gets shut down after 4-5 sec. Do you think the problem is because of the speakers impedance or receiver problem? Many thanks! Adi
@wug1229 Neither. You are simply playing it too loud. People do not understand that these thing are not P.A. systems. Sheesh. The best way to get more volume is to use more efficient speakers.
@wug1229 I doubt it will play any louder. You are going to have problems with shutdowns and even blown amps until you lower the average volume, at least get more efficient speakers, or use your receiver pre-outs to feed bigger power amps. Even that probably won't get the volume you want. You need a P.A. system for a rock concert type system. I can't break the laws of physics.To play 10db louder than a 100 watt amp requires 1000 watts.
@shogrran You have to start somewhere... Google "basic electronics" or "electronics fundamentals" and learn a bit about AC and DC electronics. Stay away from 120 volt primary stuff until you learn more. Good luck!
service wide in Downers grove fixed my SR-18EX in one day , after a man in racine wisconsin had it for over a month and did nothing to tell me what was wrong with my receiver . I like service wide Technologies in downers grove , Illinois . I have no complaints with them

The bigger they are, the more likely to be damaged and I'm on the hook as the shipper and have to spend up to months hassling with UPS or Fedex. Try Service Wide Technologies at (630) 969-7333 2239 Curtiss Street Downers Grove, IL 60515 or try Marantz at 201-762-6666 and see if there's someone closer to you.
Yeah, Marantz is anal about that. The theory is if it's really blown and the customer keeps trying to reset, it burns up more parts and maybe even causes a fire hazard. There was an earlier series where this could happen. Oh, well. The reset on this one is "Surround Mode" , "Exit" , "Clear" .
Doesn't look like that's available. What's up, physical damage?
