Theres nothing wrong with using software, the problem is that everyone uses the same presets. and one can almost always tell when a new "filmmaker" has used Red Giant.

I think it achieves some cool looks, and might save time but. i will stick to Lustre-Smoke and Davinci for high end projects, and yes i have this suite for quick looks on small/medium jobs.

I see the obvious "Positive" and "Negative" comments on this, yet this software gives new filmers a chance to have a deacent look in there videos while it gives older ones a newer look to well...look at, just because it's new or different, doesn't make it bad..I'm just saying. Well it seams there is of course our obvious "Positive" and "Negative" comments on this video yet, it helps many new filmers to have a good look and older filmers to have a new idea on color correction, while new is different, it doesn't have to he bad. I'm just saying.

@C2xEditor After Effects CS5.5 (not sure about previous versions) has a preset called BadTV and it gives you 3 different options (Weak signal, Old TV, Old Film) and each of those have their own toggles and adjustments so you can essentially "make it your own." hope that helped.

@surferboy36O at my film school we learn about getting stuff in camera and using minimal post production but we still use mojo and magic bullet as you can get great results and they are both used in the industry
