top 2 home run hitters of all time.... hank aaron and ken griffey jr. them too just had pure power! no steroids no nothing! u dont see that anymore. =( (barry bonds) doesnt count. he cheated!
i personly think tht griffy is one of the best players ever to play baseball. hes an awesome outfileder, as u can see tremendous power hitter and had speed back in the days, but the prolbem is he got hurt to m=uch, just imagine if he didnt get hurt, his numbers would be even mor incredible, adn to make it better., he ddint cheat.
Best in the 90's, probably. But he certainly hasn't been this decade. Players that have been better (or just as good) this decade: Thome Manny Delgado Chipper Jones Andruw Jones (despite that terrible 2008 season) Vlad Adam Dunn Troy Glaus (maybe) Pujols (Is probably the best of this decade) Konerko (maybe) David Ortiz
this just get to show that he is the best in this decade and the last people might have the arguments "i hope not because there is so many player like bonds and a-fraud that took steroids" but griffey NEVER TOOK THEM!! he did with his own pure skills of the game without taking any short cut, also if he wasn't injured in so many season he would have easily hit 700, its just a shame that he great player like him has no world series, but VERY EASILY a first ballet HALL OF FAME!
thats a disgrace that a historic moment like that for one of the most famous baseball players of this generation can't draw more than what? 8,000 people?
well knowing when he was gonna hit it there is no way to know.the reds were horrible and no one probly wanted to make there way out to watch the home team loose
i bet ur bitch ass wasnt there... its a cryin shame that the piss poor sports fans in florida have the PRIVILEGE of having such a sick franchise... shitty fans don't even support their own squad
lol well the pretty much only say "that ball hit deep and its going, going, gone!" gayest quote ive ever typed in my life start sayin u can put it on the board! again!
glad to see the marlins are in a close race for first place in their division, plus you have a guy about to make baseball history and you get 10,000 people in attendance. worst fans in baseball

There were less than 600 people in the stands for his 600th homer. Sad.

More:
Berkman
Big Tex (maybe)
Beltran (probably the best outfielder of the decade)
Pat the Bat
I could probably come up with a few more.
EeVvAaNn3 2 years ago
Beltran "Best outfielder of the decade"? Pretty sure that title more than likely goes to Ichiro, not Beltran.
EeJLP 2 years ago
@EeJLP
Forgot about Ichiro. But yeah, can't argue with either. Edmonds isn't far off either.

The Marlins may have a lot of fair-weather fans, but I'd venture to say the Expos had the worst fans. There's a reason they moved to D.C.
And at least they're not Bengals fans. Talk about bad fans.
