it is possible to be allergic to alcohol. it has something to do with your body not producing a certain enzyme needed to process the ethanol...

if you are allergic it's still possible to drink you can take a zantac 175 nd it gives you a temporary enzyme that helps break down the alcohol. and you dont experience the symptoms of the allergy.
