Big halo fan here!, I've played them sience they started whit halo ce on the xbox, and i have always bought them on the release day! I can't imagine how awesome the experience will be to start playing this new halo game! but i have a feeling it will be as awesome as it always have been and will do as i always have done!
Play through all the games until i come to the new one! :D It will be great!

I want to be able to use shadows to hide from enemies, rocks that crumble and fall when shot at, shoot at branches and watch them fall at my feet and so on. Multiple Sounds/Scenery? I don't get what you mean, there is already much of that. The environment to your advantage, meh, tumbling rocks I can't see would be to useful against a giant metal structure. In halo 2, you used shadows to hide from Enforces/Sentinels, so that would be a nice return. In halo 3, you shoot the ice cycles and they would break, I don't think tumbling rocks would happen though, and sinking sand probably wouldn't either.
@GameReviewer1987 I have only played Halo 3 and Reach and am addicted to both. I was saying if wou shoot a rock it will crumble and get destroyed but shooting the side of a rock cliff however wont do much of anything. But i want to be able to shoot a rocket at the side of a rock cliff and have it fall as a boulder. Thus blocking a part of the map or making it easier to kill a hunter or just giving you an advantage or something. (continued)
The for runners made the flood just to protect them and the ark and aslo the halo for the persacuters and the truth team. So how did the fools ( the persacute and the truth) made the flood out the gate? I Really doubt that actually, not only does 343 Studios know how important Master Chief is to this franchise, Microsoft does as well. They announced that Halo 4 is part of a new trilogy so I think he will make it at least to Halo 6. Also, they are spending tons of money on a new design for MC for the new trilogy. They talked about how he will get new armor halfway through the game.... I doubt they would spend that much time and money for new armor just for half of Halo 4.

It feels like final fantasy, which is awesome, but what I liked about halo its that it was a human story of humans with their back against the wall in an epic space opera, by what I've read from those novels (crypton & the other one) its like if they are trying to make every single aspect of the story epic but ends up feeling too fantastic, unrealistic...like final fantasy...

You never see the face of the character you play as because it would destroy that little detail that helps you be more immersed in the game. Or at least that's what I think lol. I personally don't see a difference. But I don't think they will break tradition and give you a face.

@SnappiestExpertNiko Well there shouldnt be no reason to be impressed with the Anniversary if you already played the original CE, it was just a remake with better graphics other than that its the same shit, which is good! Im cant wait for Halo 4 hopefully 343 will make up for the mistakes bungie did with reach! but I agree with you ODST is one of my favorite Halos (campaign wise) But CE has to be on top of my list.
@ChrisBldrs not alot of mistakes with reach, just the weapons list keeps changing, confuses alot of people lol. CE would have been alot better if it looked like reach and played like reach :l
Bring it back to the roots. In CE the reticle was in the centre of the screen and guns killed 25% Quicker. Base run speed from CE with sprint fully implemented as a game function would be epic.

i really hope 343 sees this. if they want to make a good halo game give it freedom like bungie did in halo 2 also put in the awesome weapons they had in reach and for the love of god no fucking "get out of this place in ten seconds or you will die thing" they dont need that invisible walls and insta kill barriers. halo 2 and 1 had almost none of those people enjoy exploring they dont enjoy finding a cool hiding spot in the middle of a map and being killed by the ten second kill thing.

Halo 4 is going to be amazing. Whether or not the multiplayer works out like past Halo titles, which I'm positive it will surpass Reach obviously, and may be even better than Halo 3. They're already very familiar with the first gameplay engine on Combat Evolved, so they have more of a fresh idea of Halo's core gameplay that Bungie obviously lost track of in Reach. But aside from the multiplayer, the story is going to be amazing already because of the character development of Chief for once.
i think both halo 3 and halo 3 odst were both dope, halo odst was more action oriented and halo 3 odst had an amazing story, people just thought it was so boring that they couldnt cling to the story. i compare it to movies, where some people hate slow boring movies that pick up later which are the halo 3 fans, and the odst fans are people who like movies that emphasize the story more than the action and wow factor. both are dope though, you just have to learn to like both in their own right.

@jimcoolfilms Actually that isn't the case and you shouldn't just assume it is because that is not the real reason most people hated ODST. I didn't like ODST because the story got quite boring; you would explore the city for a long time before reaching the end and it got lonesome. I admit the story line was good and firefight, but the gameplay.. not so much. Firefight was best in ODST but still doesn't change the fact that by majority, it is the most disliked Halo game today.
Halo 4 better be more like Halo 1-3 than Reach. i dont want fucking rocket packs and shit like that. i love Halo, but Reach was a dissapointment. it was a sad way for Bungie to leave the series. just my opinion.

@SnappiestExpertNiko Well there shouldnt be no reason to be impressed with the Anniversary if you already played the original CE, it was just a remake with better graphics other than that its the same shit, which is good! Im cant wait for Halo 4 hopefully 343 will make up for the mistakes bungie did with reach! but I agree with you ODST is one of my favorite Halos (campaign wise) But CE has to be on top of my list.

Bring it back to the roots. In CE the reticle was in the centre of the screen and guns killed 25% Quicker. Base run speed from CE with sprint fully implemented as a game function would be epic.

i really hope 343 sees this. if they want to make a good halo game give it freedom like bungie did in halo 2 also put in the awesome weapons they had in reach and for the love of god no fucking "get out of this place in ten seconds or you will die thing" they dont need that invisible walls and insta kill barriers. halo 2 and 1 had almost none of those people enjoy exploring they dont enjoy finding a cool hiding spot in the middle of a map and being killed by the ten second kill thing.

Halo 4 is going to be amazing. Whether or not the multiplayer works out like past Halo titles, which I'm positive it will surpass Reach obviously, and may be even better than Halo 3. They're already very familiar with the first gameplay engine on Combat Evolved, so they have more of a fresh idea of Halo's core gameplay that Bungie obviously lost track of in Reach. But aside from the multiplayer, the story is going to be amazing already because of the character development of Chief for once.

i think both halo 3 and halo 3 odst were both dope, halo odst was more action oriented and halo 3 odst had an amazing story, people just thought it was so boring that they couldnt cling to the story. i compare it to movies, where some people hate slow boring movies that pick up later which are the halo 3 fans, and the odst fans are people who like movies that emphasize the story more than the action and wow factor. both are dope though, you just have to learn to like both in their own right.

@jimcoolfilms Actually that isn't the case and you shouldn't just assume it is because that is not the real reason most people hated ODST. I didn't like ODST because the story got quite boring; you would explore the city for a long time before reaching the end and it got lonesome. I admit the story line was good and firefight, but the gameplay.. not so much. Firefight was best in ODST but still doesn't change the fact that by majority, it is the most disliked Halo game today.
